- The seniors ate very helpful and always ready to give guidance and help, we just have to approach them .
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not tha good, the labs and library are very old. There is no big auditorium in the campus.
- The library is not open in the night after 9 pm the library gets closed.
- It is a open campus college , so the neighbour village boys also play in our downs ground.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose EE branch because as I have the option of both core and non core and placement of circuital branch is also excellent here.The course curriculm is very relevant and make us ready for industry. Few teachers just comes in the class and deliver speech without makes the class interesting . Exams are easy to score good cgpa and there are two exams mid and end for each semester.
Internships Opportunities
The internship offers usually comes in the 6th sem and many companies like atlassian, amazon salesforce, adobe , bpcl , microsoft . The roles offered are sde, Data analyst, Web developer etc. And for internship we have to build projects on android dev or web dev and dsa .
Placement Experience
The students generally gets internship offers from 6th sem and in the fourth year companies visits for the placements . Some big tech giants like atlassian, amazon, salesforce, adobe, microsoft visits our campus for placements. The highest and average package is 83lpa and 15lpa respectively and placement percentage is around 98% and mainly students gets sde role. I am also preparing for sde roles .
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees is around 9- 10 lakhs in 4 years and we have scholarships on tution fees based on our family income . Students having family income less than 1lakhs gets full tution fee waiver and for 1 to 5 lakhpa they get 1/3 rd fee remmision.The campus placement is very amazing with 98% placement percentage and about 15 lqkhs average package
Campus Life
The annual cultural and technical fests of our college is Culfest and Ojaas respectively. The culfest helds in february and is very grand, famous celebrities visits to perform. The library is equipped with huge no of books and the classrooms are equipped with projectors. The sports fest is urja and sports facilities are also good.
Hostel Facilities
In the 1st year we get double occupied room and from 2nd year we get songle room. The hostel facilities are decent and the mess quality is also good after the registration we gets our hostel alloted . We get one study table, chair , and almirah .
Admission
For admission in Nits , we have to give the JEE entrance exam and after the result we get admission through jossaa councelling . The cutoff for Nit jsr is around 96 percentile. The jee mains exam takes place twice in a year and is very competitive in nature due to 15 lakh aspirant. And after the counselling we have to do document verification in the college .
Faculty
The teachers here are very knowledgeable and they have done their masters and phd from IITs. The teaching methodology is excellent and especially some teachers are very interactive . In exams questions usually asked from the notes.
