Likes
- In my college the almost teachers are do their masters, some of them do the Phd appearing also. The faculty who teaches us in the first year are almost stable.
- The library of my college is furnished with modern facilities i.e. digital library, computer lab, reference section, Discussion hall and a lot of books present in library almost cover all the domains
- The sports facilities are good enough. They provide a lot of opportunity. A lot of tournaments are held inside the college as well as outside college level that means zonal game, inter college games etc
Dislikes
- The internship opportunity is not good enough to secure a good permanent job.
- The internal marking scheme is not good because they divide the internal marks on various categories.
- Currently they do not have good companies for their placement. Almost 75% company is of Sales profile.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Curriculum of the AKTU is not good enough for the development of the students. My college is affiliated with the AKTU so they follow AKTU Syballus. The syllabus for 1st year to 3rd year is good. The worst syllabus of Aktu is for the 4th year, no technical subjects are present in the 4th Year syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
Internship Opportunities are not good. In other colleges, after 2nd year students get some good internships but in my college, there is no internship provided by any company. if you are interested in doing an internship you have to find off campus.
Placement Experience
This year college faced my market ups and downs. The placements are approx 35% to 40% only. About more than 60% of companies come to college for the sales profile. Due to the recession in the market college placement is not good enough to secure a decent job.
Fees and Financial Aid
ABES Engineering College takes 136200 rupees for a year. For the 4th year, you have to pay 128200 rupees for a year. 110000 rupees is the tuition fee of the institution 7800 rupee charges for uniform fees. 8200 rupees are charged for the Examination fees per year. AICTE approved the Saksham scholarship provided by the central government and the UP scholarship (samaj kalyan chatravriti) provided by the UP government which is about half the fees of institute fees. Every Student does not take advantage of scholarships. Some of the branches which are not NBA-affiliated do not receive scholarships.
Campus Life
The overall experience on campus is amazing. I have many friends, juniors, and seniors from college. Some of the clubs are Minava, Photograph Club, HUHC, NSS, Yoga Club, etc. The infrastructure of our college is good enough. Our campus is approx 15 acre only but the college maintains a good infrastructure so that all the classes run smoothly.
Hostel Facilities
I have not lived in the hostel but my friends told me that hostel rooms are available in the form of seater. A variety of rooms are provided such as One seater, Two seater, and Four seater. One-seater rooms are highly costlier than the Two and four-seater. The food of the hostel is okay.
Admission
ABES Engineering College Ghaziabad has a great location in Ghaziabad. It is nearly 3 km from Ghaziabad railway station and nearly about 5 kilometre from Noida. The bad aspect of my college is average placements which is about 4 lakh per annum. On 20 November I got admission to ABES Engineering College and my first year classes will be scheduling on 2 December 2020. At now I completed my degree course on 14 june 2024. ABES engineering college is the reputed college in UPSEE, according to survey it hold 6th position in UPSEE colleges. For selecting this college I use college dunia website, concern with my some relatives and friends.
Faculty
In my department, there are approx forty to forty-five faculty present. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:5. In my department approx 240 students present consisting of a lateral and regular student. To solve your doubt all the teachers are open to communication as well as they are helpful also. They give guidance to students regarding their coding, placement, academics, etc. You can approach your teacher either in class or in their cabin.
