Likes

The college seniors behave good and helps junior
The college have a good decent library in which you can borrow books which will help you in the degree
The college have a common game room for all the students

Dislikes

The college have a small campus and you will not able to find the classroom way properly
The college have the worst timing which I hate the most that is morning from 6 am to 10.30 pm
The college does not have any good canteen and you couldn’t find anything good to eat around the college

Course Curriculum Overview

I will not lie, but the course is easy if you study well, but if you are not studying and blaming all te teachers, the syllabus is vast and the faculty will explain each and every term properly and help you if you have any doubt

Class Size: 1200Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee structure is very low in today's date, its around 6000? per year and for 3 years it's 15000 to 16000 maximum, even after this the college will provide a scholarship sponsored by government which is 12000? per year for those student who got 60% or above in higher secondary or a fee concession for poor students

Campus Life

The infrastructure of college is not nice, but some class have air conditioner, and college organise some events regularly for students which is good, all kind of event are held in a particular period of time which helps the students in various ways

Admission

I liked the admission process easy and it was very convinient, the cut off was 80% at 2022, for admission you have to fill the form online which is free for all, and the whole process for admission is online, and you will get notice for everything

Faculty

The faculty are pretty nice or they help you in every way if you have some work in college, even you can cancle your admission if you didn't like the college or the way all the faculty teaches is good and I find it Pretty nice

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
