Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose to pursue this degree because I wanted to practise and understand the law, and Asian Law College is an excellent choice for admission. Asian Law College also offers free judiciary courses. So, this is the ideal choice for students seeking admission to college. In addition, this course includes diploma courses such as Media & Entertainment law and personality development. This College is good for the students, and the it also provides placement.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The college provides internship opportunities right from the first year. In these internships, students get a chance to work closely with Supreme Court advocates and organizations and develop their skills.

Placement Experience

3

The college provides campus recruiting programmes through which they have collaborated with various well-known and successful organisations and start-ups to present students with a diverse choice of possibilities. It varies based on the job type, however the highest package so far stands at 7.8 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees of our batch is 6, 45,000. We have to pay 1, 20,000 per year and 45,000 in 1st year as registration fees. There is also scholarship opportunities for the students who scored good percentage in their 12th standard and the amount of scholarship is 25,000. Every year the student will get a scholarship of Rs 5,000 which will be deducted from their fee structure.

Campus Life

4

If we compare it with other colleges, the campus of the college is quite small but the interior and class rooms are very nice. There are only 2 buildings in the college. There is no annual fest in the college but the College promotes a lot of competitions and events which develop the personality of the students. There are also interactive clubs in the college.

Admission

Students should have passed 12th standard so that they can fit in the eligibility criteria of this course. The college has its own entrance exam, ALCAT – Asian Law College Admission Test. Entrance test is not that difficult. First there is a test which can be given both online and offline. Then comes the interview part. Also, the registration fees of this exam is rs.1000.

Faculty

4

Asian Law College provides a very good and kind faculty; all they require is discipline, and they have a lot of information about their subjects and give us great study advise. The teaching method is also good and all of the students can readily understand the topics that are presented.

Placement Experience:

Students are given internship opportunities right from the first year. As I'm already on the verge of graduating in the next two months, I've seen the faculty and management put more attention to the Training and Placement Cell. Big companies like Deloitte, HCL and Austrian Migration Lawyers like Loch Corporate have taken interns from the law school at DME. This being said, I have high hopes from the Placements as well. I plan on working in the corporate and later this year appearing in Clat PG for the masters.

Campus placements at the college are quite decent and provides students with a good platform to start their career students usually becomes eligible for placement in their final year but the college starts focusing on internship and skill development on early semester itself. This helps students gain practical exposure and build a strong cv before they sit for final placement. Usually hardworking and eligible students who focuses from the begining get placements through college after completing my degree my plan to gain practical experience by working in a corporate legal role or with a law firm to build strong skills and industry exposure the placement percentage at the college is moderate with a fair number of students getting placed each year
