I like the teachers; college staff; principal sir..Our professor are very much supportive and provide best environment for our classes
All the office staffs are very supportive and they provide every information related to the college and University
Our College union is very much likable and the senior supports and guides us in our every steps...The College encourage us to do extra curricular activities

Dislikes

The campus is very old it's need some renovations
The infrastructure is too old we don't have better benches
The college campus should be more developed and better looking

My neighbour and home peoples belongs to this commerce accountancy hons. Course they guided me to take this course they also told the benefits of studing these subjects specially accountancy and taxation.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our College's yearly fee is around 6000 rupees its less expensive because this clg belongs to government body and government of west bengal also provide different different schlorship which was approved by the college itself.

Campus Life

Our College campus was not so large and not so developed there was no ground no game room no social hangout place.... our College infrastructure was too old we face many problems regarding this and we want that this should change a little

Admission

The addmission process is based on merit basis. Accordingly to our higher secondary exam results the seats have been given to students and they proceed with their course addmission....the cutoff during the year 2022 was little high

Faculty

The college faculty is nice there are many professer to teach and guide us in every possible way.....the teacher-to-student ratio is also good there were more than 50 teachers both male and female....they take classes accordingly to their particular subjects

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
