This is the best college for engineering in Karnataka. The management is top class with discipline given on cleanliness. The buildings are huge and spacey.

I took up CET to get into this wonderful college. I scored rank of 55 to get her with my PUC percentage being 95%. This is the number 1 college in whole of Bangalore to do engineering with respect to its history. The campus is the biggest in Bangalore and the facilities for students are top notch.

The course is neatly integrated to reduce stress and options are given to take up some subjects in a different semesters for civil.

For internship companies such as BOSCH and BEHL were offered to us which was truly useful. The stipend was not available though free food was given to us at BOSCH. We came to know in hand the kind of advances in technology happening in our country in these companies and was a good base to start our project in the 8th semester.

The placement started in the 6th semster itself with training a year before. Many companies came such as Wipro, Infosys, General Motors, L&T Ltd. The package ranged from 4.5 Lakh per anum in General Motors to almost 7.5 Lakh per anum in BMW for Mechanical students.

We celebrated Holi, Diwali, College fest and talents day in our college with students participating even from other colleges. We also hosted to VTU fest last year with a student from all over karnataka participating with the people being 10000 in attendance. Many events such as bowling, football, slow bike racing, Table tennis etc are played during talents day.

The fees is the least when compared to other college if you go through entrance exam. If by donation then its the highest. Loans are easily available in any bank for this college and scholorship is given to poor students. The payable fee is 28000 per year with no other hidden cost except exam fee.

Scholarship is offered by VTU and also college gives loan facilities to SC/ST's and to poor students. There is a delay in the payment of schlorship amounts by 2 months on an average.

The best part in the life in campus. There is a whole lot of events in every semester in sports such as running, Football and indoor activities like table tennis etc. The gender ration is almost 1:1. The management took us on field trip to companies nearby. There is a robotics club and they have won many competition.

Every building has its own canteen and there is a huge canteen in the campus center. The hostel is in campus with a hostel fee of Rs 5000 per month. The PG's nearby cost Rs 3000 per month with Rs 10000 as deposit. There is a bustop in front of the campus.

The seniors meet once every year on a sunday in the college campus and are kept in touch through facebook. They are informed of upcoming events by the management.

The exams are conducted by college which rates us out of 10. The exams are fairly simple process with internals being held for thrice a semster. Every semester contains 2 labs which are pretty much enjoyable.

The standards for hiring a lecturer itself is too high with Phd being a must. All the lecturers are friendly and inspiring. The non teaching staff is very helpful such as in library and canteen.
