Life in the BHAWANIPUR COLLEGE

The course curriculum is as per the CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY and is a good course. The course is itself the most popular. The course provides with some advanced knowledge of Tally which help for a good carrier.

Till now there is no internship program for the b.com students. And the company come for placement but there are no internship programs currently offered to bcom students. The BBA DEPARTMENT have better internship opportunities than other departments.

Yes there are placements in the college. There are repudiated company which visit for campus placement. Some of the company are Tata Steel , ITC INDIA PVT LTD , AND Some other companies.I have no information about the highest package of the placement. The placement is more high for BBA STUDENTS. My plan after getting degree is to pursue my higher studies and do M.com with the Bhawanipur College.

The College fees is decent as compared to the facility it porvides. The fee vary from year to year but the change is minimal and revolve and the same figure. There is no any hidden charges by the College. The complete course fee for 3years bcom is approximately 220000 . The College provides scholarship which reduces the course fee to just 60000. The scholarship has its criteria which is provided by the college once the admission application starts. For me as an scholarship student the college is a bliss as the fee is very minimal.

College is famous for holding FEST FOR STUDENTS - UMANG. The most famous among the colleges of kolkata. The enjoyment level is very high. It is held in December. The UMANG is one of the best moments of college life. There are also other fests which depends on the college and the time varies slightly. The College library is the best library. There are a tons of books and all types of books are available. The library provides daily newspaper. The Library have desktop for students. The college library provides the best atmosphere to study. The Library is very calm and chilled at summer times. The college conducts extracurricular activities which are held regularly. The College also helds camp like BLOOD DONATION CAMP . The students can join clubs and groups as per their comfort and skills. The camps help to increase social skills

The admission starts after the 12th results are declared. The eligibility of the course b.com needs best of 4subject in 12th .The admission process is simple. The portal is open and applications are started. The application fees is 750. The next step is merit list which is according to marks. After the merit list the college send emails and sms regarding selection of candidates in merit list. The merit lidt can go upto 18 lists . The students then pay the admission fees which is approximately 36000 for the morning batch. The College then allow students to verify their documents. The College also refund the security fee after completion of course.And all this steps are to quick and fast. There is no entrance for the college. It's on merit basis. The only thing bad about admission process is the college charges to high for application.

The faculty is the most professional faculty of any College in kolkata. The faculty provides every help a student need from there teachers. The faculty are all qualified and give real life thoughts rather than just bookish. The faculty also have a kind behaviour towards students.
