For my counseling cut off of my 10+2 marks, Tamilnadu board of education has list of colleges and the best college I got was Dr.Mahalingam college of Engineering & Technology in the coimbatore region.The college is excellent in placements particularly for the computer science and IT department

Since Dr.Mahalingam college of engineering and technology is an autonomous college ,the college is a self sufficient and self managed college and it has proven by providing latest curriculum at industrial standards to it's students . So that once we graduate those curriculum is very much useful and we are more productive than the students graduated from other colleges

Yes our college focusses on internship for students. Every student have completed an internship during their academics. The stipend carries based on perfomance during the interview process and generally it will be around 5000 to 25000 per month

Our college celebrates all the major festivals celebrated in India and also every year Sakthi trophy is conducted where the events for staffs and students will be conducted and prizes are given. Every year campus day is celebrated where awards and cash prizes are awarded to meritorious students.Cultural events is also conducted for the Annual day celebration every uear

Fee structure is in the mid range. It is expensive than the Govt colleges and comparatively lower than other private colleges. This is for the Meritorious quota whereas for the Management quota ,the donation amount is high. The college fee is lower however they will add some other fee for club activities, placement training and drain your money.But most of the colleges are doing this.

Private Loan facilities will not be offered by college. However for some deserving students scholarship is given and fees is waived off. Every year top performers are selected from each department and is awarded with scholarship amounts

The entire college campus life journey was a wonderful experience in Dr Mahalingam college of engineering and technology and it taught great lessons for life. The gender ratio in the college is almost neutral and students from all over the state came here to pursue their education.The college focusses on extra curricular activities, every year intra college symposium Varnam events will be conducted where students exhibit their talents in several technical and non technical events. College symposium will be conducted for two days,where students from several colleges come to exhibit their talents.MCET has excellent sports teams ,has strongest teams in almost all the sports,Cricket ,Chess,Basketball ,Handball,Football,Hockey,Kho-kho. MCET automobile Dept students makes the cars that participate in the famous Go-kart events in Punjab every year and won several times. To participate in sports college provide Travel allowance and Daily allowances to the students.

Hostel facilities in Dr.Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology is the best around the Coimbatore region.They provide high-speed internet and high quality food the hostel is very large and can accommodate large number of students.It has an internal library and a play ground within the hostel premises

Dr.Mahalingam college of engineering and technology has an excellent alumni network and to be surprise all the passed out students are still connected in a network through the excellent MCET alumnus network

We have 8 semesters for 4 year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and Bachelor of Technology (B.tech) course and 6 semesters for lateral entry students. The exam schedule is decided by the college since it is an autonomous , however the degree is offered by the Anna University,Chennai since the college is affiliated to Anna University

Management Quota is there ,you can directly step into college and admission is possible. For merit category one has to undergo counseling process in Chennai and then chose the college and get the joining documents and report to college. The admission process is quite easy it took just a day. I was impressed by the management 's assistance

The staffs in Dr.Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology are excellent and passionate in teaching. They are excellent in their academics too. Our college maintains strict hiring policy and very choosy in hiring the right faculty.However some are not up to the expected standards.
