An above average college of delhi university

The overall review is that the college is good for its academics and extracurricular activities but the campus life that many of students have dreamed of won't be able to complete here.

I opted for this particular college as it is nearby my home and it has good infrastructural facilities as compared to other choices I had. If you have a Delhi University college near your home target that only because it can be a huge task of travel 1 hour to reach your college and go back after a tiring day.

The course is all about economics and revolves around both macroeconomics and microeconomics there are also subjects like marketing, organization behavior and corporate finance which adds value to the curriculum of our course. In our course, not only principles are studied but we also learn they are applied in the real world.

Yes, our college provides internship but the placement cell of our college is run by a group of talented students who work hard to provide students with good internships, the college has not appointed any specific person to function the placement cell. The general stipend offered is 5k-10k

The placements are a good many good companies come to our college but as I told earlier the placement cell is run by a group of talented students who try their best to provide students with good job offers. The college has not appointed any personnel to look after the placements.

The events that are celebrated by our college are departmental freshers of each department separately, the whole college's freshers. The annual cultural fest call Chetna is also celebrated with bash. The small events regarding awareness about recent thins keep happening. At last, we have our farewell to bid adieu the passing out batch.

The fee structure is quite feasible if compared to any private university. It is same as any Delhi university's college but my course's fee is a bit high than other course fees as our course is a professional course and our faculty takes us on the industrial trip through the extra fees.

No, as per my knowledge there is no scholarship/loan facility offered by my college. I have not availed any such facility by the college.

The campus life is quite good, the sports ground of our college is huge and you can play the variety of games or you can hang out with your pals, the gender ratio in my course I poor but in other courses the gender ratio is healthy. Extracurricular activities such as debates, sports events keep happening to indulge students in activities other than academics.

There is no hostel in our college but there is a canteen which is quite good and the food is also affordable and fresh. In the canteen, there is the facility of chairs to sit comfortably and enjoy your lunch. many students hang out in the cafeteria of the college with their friends.

The alumni network of our college is average few students are still in contact with our colleagues who give helpful advice and help in the working of placement cell of our college.

Exam structure is same as any Delhi university's college we have our exams twice a year these exams are called external exams which are of 75 marks and the internal is of 25 marks which is a cumulation of class performance, attendance, and assignments.

Initially, I gave DU jat which is an entrance examination that happens annually in the months of June - July, after that I was called for group discussion and personal interview after this all process there was a cumulative score calculated on the basis of the entrance, group discussion, and personal interview. Then we were allotted our ranks and were allocated colleges through online counseling and spot counseling.

The faculty of college is very friendly, they keep motivating students to perform better than before. All the teachers are highly qualified in their fields of study and give us a very fruitful time to discuss topics in our class, the teachers also help us to plan our future.
