my college

I am from Electronics department so in my case the curriculum is quite good but there were some subjects like chemistry which were taught to us in 1st and 2nd semester. Electronics students have the advantage to go for core as well as tech jobs and for that we have also been taught python and c++ in first two semesters.

Summer internships are provided quite oftenly in various companies and startups. There is one student who got 4.2 lakhs per month internship but I think he was quite talented so he got that using his own skills. Opportunities are quite good if one is hard working and talented.

On their website they have shown highest package of 1.37Cr but I think it's off campus placement. If a student is good and have studied properly he/she can get a good placement at college itself. The avg package is around 10 lpa and for top 10%ile students it is 21 lpa

Tution fees is 175000 for one semester which increases to 180000 in third year.Scholarships are also given upto 50% ( when I took admission I was given 75% which was max at that time) onthe basis of 12th score, Jee score and SAT score.Hostels are also on the basis of double bed or triple bed. For double bed the fees is 90000 per semester and for triple it is 75000 per semester. So the total cost of studying btech in my college is 14 lakhs.

Campus is well equipped with all facilities, different food counters are available but the prices is a little high for some items. There is a mess with two floors( ground and 1st) and food is edible ,that's all I can say. One more mess is there which is paid and food there quite delicious and expensive.There are multiple clubs which one can join based on their interest. Sports facilities are also quite good with 2 outdoor and 1 indoorbasketball court ,3 indoor badminton courts, 3 table tennis tables, 1 swimming pool,1 football ground, 2 pickle ball courts, one common room with sports like pool ,snooker ,carrom board and table tennis.

Hostels are quite clean and furniture is also good but the room size is a little small for 3 bed rooms.Washrooms are also clean and well equipped with showers and sinks. Wifi sometime works and other times don't work.Laundary facility is also provided by the college where one can give 10 clothes at a time.

For admissions ,one can go to their website Bennett University, where application form can be filled. The min 12th percentage for admissions is 70% . Application fees is around 1000 I think.The exams are quite frequent and happens two times a sem, i.e., mid and end sem.

The faculties are quite good and well educated with many having phds from foreign reputed colleges and IITs.Some of the faculties are not having good communication skills but the number is small.Students can go to their faculty cabins for doubts any time when they are in college and also in classes interaction with faculties is quite good.
