Course Curriculum Overview
mit Manipal provides the best labs and the course curriculum also gets revised every 4 years , according to the industry requirements . Mechanical engineering has 4 sections each section consists of 45-50 students

For internship opportunities you have to work under a club or do research under a professor You start getting internships after your 2nd year . You can work in any field of your choice . Most of the companies offer PPO to 3rd year students
Placement Experience
Placement varies from year to year and branch to branch The average placement of mit manipal is around 12 lpa and around 75% of people get placed. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, McKinsey, Nvidia and PSUs like IOCL, and ONGC visit us.

Tuition fees is same or everyone in the first year except NRIs, second year onwards course fees changes depending on your branch. If you have a rank of top 500 in MET exam you also get an scholarship There is also an AICTE scholarship for people having annual income less than 8 lakh

Mess food is decent better compared to other engineering colleges There are around 5-6 mess in the college campus you can choose your mess , the most famous ones are food court 1 and food court 2 There are a total of 23 hostels in the campus out of which 10 are for girls and 13 are for boys Hostels provide every type of room

You have to score a minimum aggregate of 55% in pcm to qualify to write MET(manipal entrance exam) The paper pattern and cutoffs changes year to year MET is conducted twice a year mostly in the months or March and may . In 2022 the max marks was 240 and to get a top 1000 rank you needed a score of 150 The paper difficulty is same as BITSAT

Faculty to student ratio varies branch to branch For mechanical it's around 1:8 Faculties are really qualified they atleast have an MTech degree and HODs of all the departments have done PHDs in their fields .
