Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is revised under the guidance of industry professionals to stay alligned to the market needs. The lab facilities and workshop helped me gain interest and deep understanding in my area of interest. Various final yer subjects could be pre taught which are quite necessary before one starts the training in Industry. The exams are quite straight forwrad involving subjects taught in class and workshops.
Internships Opportunities
In-house and Industrial internships available under the guidance of faculties. Research papers and yearly projects. Companies like Alpha-Numero,Scalege and verifast come during placements and offer good stipend upto 10k.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good with an average package of 5 LPA in ECE. One is eligible to sit for placements after the 3rd year and their are 14-15 companies visting under our domain. Under VLSI domin, we are offered Verification trainee job roles and embedded,linux developers too. about 95% students are easily placedwithin 15-16 companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships available to those who are part Charotar Mandal and token of appreciation to ppers evrery semester. However no increse in fees throughout. The completer course costed me a about 7 lakhs including tuition fees and hostel cum mess charges. I was placed under campus recruitment as a verification trainee. Various government scholarships are available such as MYSY.
Campus Life
Enjoyable campus life and specially for girls residing in hostels within campus. No discrimination on basis of caste or nationality thus inclusive environment. libraries are the best treasurein our university. Various clubs like robotics,dance,code for cause and photography run. Sport facilities like volleyball,cricket,kabaddi etc available.
Admission
The admission process is quite seamless and the cut-off for ECE was about 14k during the 2021 batch under the ACPC category. The application form is available on the University site and stays open under the MQ quota until all seats are filled in MQ. no reservation benefits from college but under ACPC one can apply for SEBC, SC or ST categories according to which their ranks shall be decided.
Faculty
College professors are well versed with topics but may come across difficulties while delivering the lectures. The 10:1 student-faculty ratio is quite good and personal touch ensured. Smart boards and a revised syllabus ensures effective learning and a wholesome experince for students. Faculties are quite approachable and friendly thus never faced lack of guidance under an issue.
