Entrance Preview
It is the Topmost college of South Gujarat in terms of Result, Education, Teaching, Placement, Co Activites, Functions. The teaching staff is very good and it is reputed college. It is in the centre of the Surat city so one can reach it easily. It has a good Hostel Facility.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college have a well designed lab and good internet facility. From where we can assess our University website and we can get our course detail and we can get the full syllabus and subjects list per semester. Also we can get the reference book list for all the subjects.
Internships Opportunities
No, our college did not provide internship facility but they provide help and support to do an internship in the nearby industry.
Placement Experience
The placement for the IT and computer department is remaining 100%. For another department also there is a good placement comes. Big companies like Essar Steel, Torrent Power, Nish Automation, etc comes every year to recruit our college student for the Electrical department.
College Events
Our college mostly celebrates all the festival and events. From starting we will have a tech fest in which there will be a technical event which will improve student technical knowledge. After then there will be a Navratri Garba Night in which all the college students and faculty gather for garba then sports day and at last 3-day annual function.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fee is a little bit expensive. But according to the facility, staff and Lab, it is good. Students have to pay per semester fees. And some fixed fees for per year for library and other activities. A student also has to pay the exam fee at the end of the semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there is no scholarship or loan facility is offered by the college. But the admin department process our application for the scholarship offered by government.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good and e memorable life it was. There will be 65-35 gender ratio. Extracurricular activities are very good and labs are also well designed with new kits and machines. Sports competition are also happen every year and the student show their tallent.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was very good. It is fully secured little bit Student freely separate by CCTV cameras all around. It has good rooms and good place to live. Food is ok but one can manage it. So over all Hostel is very good. can live there in the atmosphere. There will be a hostel for boys and girls.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes alumini students are help ful if you will remain in thier touch they will be very helpful regardimg the future plans.
Exam Structure
Total we have 150 marks per subject. In which there will be a 30 marks internal exam conducted by college.Then there will be 70 makrs university exam. So total 100 marks of written exam. Remainig 50 marks are of pracfical exam and Viva conducted by the external faculty comes from other college.ll
Admission
First, we have to register on the AICTE site. Then they prepare the merit. Then we have to make choices of college and e prepare a list of college in which we want to apply for admission. Then they declared the result. After I got an admission letter in SCET I have to go to college to conform my admission and have to submit the necessary documents and have to paid fees. Then they will give us an Identity card.
Faculty
There will be a big staffroom on the first floor of every department. One can go there assess to the faculty whom they want to meet also during the lab hours the faculty will be present in the lab and can also meet there for any academic help or subject related help.
