Course Curriculum Overview
The course is designed to evolve us as a better human being apart from academics. We are tought subjects like value education, yoga, communication skills which helps in improving our soft skills. All the students are tought coding in their first year irrespective of their branch. Apart from this core subjects are also designed to create an understanding.
Internships Opportunities
Internship are provided in the 5th semester by the college it may be paid or unpaid but in majority of cases it is unpaid this summer internship also carry 1 credit. For getting a good internship one has for be self dependent and try to explore off campus.
Placement Experience
The placements of our college are amazing. Nearly 80 percent of the students get easily placed. Many companies like google, adobe, Factbook visit our campus. The average package for b. tech. is nearly 10 lpa and the highest package received last year was 55 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are provided to the Sc, St , Pwd candidates on their tution fees with a full waiver. General and obc candidates with an annual income of less than 1lpa are provided full tution fees waiver and whose family income is below 5 lpa are provided a 2/3 tuition fees waiver. Apart from this there are many scholarships which are provided on merit basis.
Campus Life
Our college has over 10 clubs which cover variety of aspects. There are 3 annual fests conducted in our college by different clubs these are Avartan , Samar , Electrika. Apart from this there are many cultural celebrations like garba , Janmashtami, holi. Our central library is fully air conditioned with over 10000 books. All the classes have projectors and smart boards.. The sports facilities are not adequate enough but a sports complex is under construction which can be completed by this year.
Admission
Our college takes admission through the scores of the prestigious exam of jee main. The seats are alloted through josaa counseling. The cutoff varies year by year but on an average you can get cse with an air of 15k and the cutoff of the bio medical branch is nearly 70k for general candidates.
Faculty
Our professors are highly qualified and have done their studies from various iits and nits. They carry a deep knowledge and understanding of their subjects. Although the number of faculties is limited so more often PhD scholars teach us but they are also very supportive and it is very easy to approach them for various academic doubts.
