Overall best engineering college if you are in meerut

Overall it is the average college but I would suggest this college only if you are in Meerut as it is the best engineering college in Meerut but if you are from somewhere else then better options are available like quiet, akg and many another college in Delhi NCR.

I wanted to live in Meerut only and this is the best engineering college in Meerut so I chose this college only. The faculty of the college is very good. The faculty supports you in all the fields whether it is related to their subject or not. They provide all help from their side as much as they can. And they focus and concentrate on each and every student's performance and I wanted this only.

Actually, the placements in this college in cs branch are the best but I didn't have an interest in coding and all sitting in front of the computer all the time, it's too boring. I wanted to some hardware work like VLCC, PCB designing etc. How the circuits of all electronic components are made, so I opted this branch

Our college does not provide internship directly but they provide through internshala and motivate all students to fo the internship by organizing seminars in seminar hall and explaining the advantages that we can have at the time of placement.

The placements here are not so good. Only in cs branch the placements are the best. If you are thinking to opt any other stream other than cs then you should be ready to search for jobs from outside the campus. The average package here is around 3-3.5 lakhs per annum. And the highest package is around 6-7 lakhs

Our college organizes many events and the main event that is the annual fest is of 3 days named KOLAHAAL for which each and every student of the college eagerly waits, in which the DJ night is the best part in which various big celebrities comes like Divya Kumar, Neha Kakkar. The college also organizes glitz event in which there are various activities and prizes such as group discussion, debate, story narration etc. And rangotasav is also an amazing event.

According to b.tech, the fee structure is fine, the fee for 1 year is around 1,20,000 and you can also pay for each semester separately. But as I told you earlier, I got fee waiver seat so I only pay 34,000 per year and along with first year's fee, you have to pay 5,000 rupees more as a security which is refundable after completing the course along with the interest.

You can get the Samaj Kalyan scholarship worth rupees 56,600 which is given by the state government but for that, your family income should be less than 1,00,000 per annum. And the for the girls the college provides extra 10% off of the tuition fees.

The campus is really beautiful and good especially the greenery is very well maintained here. There is a separate building for each department and the admin block is made very well because at the time of admission the parents visit there only. You are provided with or water. There is very less ragging in his college and only in the first year.

The hostel is not that much good but the food of the mess has been improved since the last year as they changed the contract. There are 3 hostels in the college, one is the girl's hostel and other is the boy's hostel. Both 2 and 3 beds are there in a room. The fees of the hostel along with mess is 62,000 per year.

The alumni meet is organized in the college various times to motivate the students, what you have to do and how you can get better placements. The senior students are very helpful, they provide you with all help that they can.

The exam is conducted through Waktu i.e dr. Apj Abdul Kalam technical university. And there are basically 8 semesters and in each semester you have 2 sessional and one pre university exam so that you can be well prepared for the semester exam. The semester exam is conducted outside the campus i.e the center is appointed in another college. The results come after 2-3 months but many times there is unfair checking in the exam and then you have to apply for scrutiny for which you have to pay 5000 rupees which is refundable if something unfair has happened with you but if I tell you the truth they never refund the money, they only say.

I got a fee waiver seat through counseling. I opted ece branch and at the time of counselling i submitted my father's income certificate during document verification and at the time of counselling top, 5 students get a chance to opt for fee waiver seat in which tuition fees becomes zero, only you have tow give extra charges examination gees etc. If you want to take direct admission then also you can take but if you want c.s branch then your 12th % should be good.
