Remarks

I would rate college as good. If you are not able to make into old and good government college, then it is better to study here, than to choose any branch in good college just for a tag.

Entrance Preview

It selects students on the basis of JEE mains ranks, so one can get some best competitive groups here! Thus helping me to work hard and achieve my goals! Also, it is one of the best private college in Delhi/NCR, specially, if you are looking for CSE branch. It is listed in the top 100 engineering colleges ranking by MHRD.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is designed in systematic manner. There are lots of electives offered along with the core subjects. The course is designed such that a student raises his IQ and knowledge to a great extent. There are three tests in a semester, Test 1 (20 marks), Test 2 (20 marks) and Test 3 (35 marks), i.e, end sem, 25 marks is given by teachers as Teacher's Assessment. The question papers are of really great levels. Along with these tests there are lab tests, project submissions and regular quizzes.

Internships Opportunities

There is a training and placement cell for that, which is headed by a senior faculty member. It helps students to provide internships to them.

Placement Experience

4.5

The best part of the college is that nearly all the students are placed. Highest package this year was 40 lakhs given by Adobe to 2 students. Second best CTC was 26 lakhs given by Amazon to 4 students. Then there were many companies giving package between 5 to 15 lakhs. Minimum salary is 3.5 lakhs given by some mass recruiters. Placements are still going in the campus.

College Events

4

There are many events celebrated such as Converge- annual fest of jiit 128. Impressions- annual fest of jiit 62. JYC week- intra college competitions are held. DEVFEST- annual fest for coding events. Vidyut- A one day electronic festival. There are many more occasion celebrated by JIIT, each event has more than 10,000 footfalls.

Fees structure is as follows- Tuition fees- Rs. 80,000 /semester Development fees- Rs. 60,000/semester Hostel fees- Rs. 57,500 /semester Caution money- Rs. 10,000 one time only. The fees is higher if we compare with government colleges, but is lower as compare to other private colleges. So, I will rate it average.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of registration, college arrange many banks to be present at the counseling area to discuss about the loan facilities. College also provide some scholarship which can be seen on its website www.jiit.ac.in

Campus Life

4

Campus life is not that good but average. But college provides lots of technical and non technical hubs, which have Great achievements, all across the colleges in India. We have project lab where student can do anything related to their subjects. We also have designated rooms and labs for all the societies of the college, where they can work and learn new things. The gender ratio of college is about 7:1.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is constructed in jiit 62 campus, so if one is studying in jiit 128 and living in hostel he have to take bus facilities by college. The hostel is in very good condition and one room is shared by 2 students. Rooms are allotted according to the jee mains ranks. Rooms are small but arranged in well manner. If you want to live near jiit 128 there are many PGs available at walking distance, at decent price. Mess food is hygienic and above average in taste. Food of jiit 128 mess is great.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and friendly in nature. It also have some great alumni in the face of, 1)- Kriti Sanon- actor 2)- Appurv Gupta- Stand-up comedian 3)- Tanmay Nagi, Head of Marketing Division Asia, Market Insight Consultants, India.

There are 2 semesters in a year, and each semester consists of 3 tests, 2 lab tests and quizzes. Test 1 is of 20 marks for each subject, followed by lab tests and Vivas. Then there is Test 2 of 20 marks again for every subject. It is also followed by lab tests and Vivas. Along with it you have to make a minor project too. At last, there is Test 3 or End sem of 35 marks for each subject. Every subject and labs are evaluated out of 75 marks, and 25 marks are given on your class performance, which also includes quizzes, by the teachers.

Admission

First of all you need to register for counseling by providing your JEE Mains details, and paying registration fee. Then you will receive a mail stating your counseling date and venue. You need to be present on that day on your counseling venue. You will be called according to your JEE Mains rank, and you will get a branch according to your preference and availability of seats. You need to give the DD for the fees, which is already stated in the mail received by you, and register your self.

Faculty

3.5

All the teachers have pursued PhD in their respective subjects and have lots of published research papers by their name. When it comes to knowledge, all the teachers are great and highly knowledgeable, but when it comes to deliver lectures, you may find all types of teachers. Some are so good that you won't be able to leave them for a moment. But above all, every teacher will help you in all the possible cases.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
