- Food hygiene is not good overall but better comparatively
- I don't know about how other college lecturers teach but here teaching is not that effective
- There is no campus, They don't conduct much events and placements are also not that good
Course Curriculum Overview
I was good in math and physics so I thought I can go for logics it would be easy for me if I opt logics than something memorizing I thought. They don't prepare for real world applications they just help you pass and provide some platforms from where you can learn. The aim should be knowledge not passing.
Placement Experience
They'll provide campus placement after 6th sem. Accenture, infosys, google and other companies have visited. Highest package is 30lpa and average is 3.5lpa. Percentage of students getting placed may be less than 50% I guess, I'm planning for off campus after this degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is 10k for general and kcet fee is 1lakh for general. Comedk fee might be bit more than this. I'm paying 2lakhs per year. Scholarships are available, but They don't give refunds if you pay extra, they'll try to collect as much money as possible from you.
Campus Life
They conduct only one cultural fest that too only for one day called sapthrang which is worse than even school annual days, all kinds of books are available in library. Sports is not that good they don't even inform us about vtu sports, we have to search by ourself if we want to participate. Many clubs like rotaract, IEEE,IUCE,literary club and cultural committee is there
Hostel Facilities
Facilities will be provided as soon as possible if we ask, food is not hygiene, menu is regular not that interesting not worth the money. There is free laundry service but not good at all. Hostel fee increases by 5k every year.
Admission
Admission process was good every one will act fine until you apply for that college. I had 50k ranking in kcet, I belonged to scheduled caste so I Got the seat with first attempt itself. For general cutoff may be below 30k ranking
Faculty
Some faculty have phd and some assistant professors(Mtech graduates). Faculty to student ratio is good there are sufficient lecturers to each department but not all faculty teach good. You should self study if you want to pass. Faculty will interact with you whenever you want
