Course Curriculum Overview
My interest in the human body from 9th class lead to me choose this course. The competency based course motivates the students to learn with more practical knowledge rather than only theoretical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is done in the college hospital itself and no need to go anywhere else It gives complete oppurtunity to learn everything includes OPD sittings, Ward visits, night duty, emergency service, Operation theatre visits etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees is 100000 rs per year Hostel fees is 12000 rs per year And other charges include a library fees of 1000 rs, student welfare of 1000 rs and cycle stand fees of 350 rs which totals to 114350 rs per year It is a 5 year course (4+1) Govt scholarships are available easily which covers entire tution fees scholarships are available for all reserved and unreserved categories and includes different criterias
Campus Life
Annual fests have occured only twice since the opening of the college Fests name is ADRENO. Infrastructure is great. All books are easily available in library which of ground plus first floor All sports like badminton, TT, cricket, football, volleyball, basketball are available to play Lecture hall are well equpiied with smart class technology and televisons for easy learning.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels have single occupancy for seniors and double occupancy for juniors due to lack of rooms. Rooms are very nice and included with a bed, table, chair and almirah. Washrooms are common between 10-12 rooms with two baths and three washrooms in each. Mess is present in all hostels and easy food and tiffins services from city is also available Water problems are present
Admission
Course admission occurs through scores of NEET-UG. Admission is done through both All India and State level Counselling. Cutoff for unreserved category in year 2020 was about 530 marks admission process was really smooth, college had provided all list of documents required prior to admission process which eased the process.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is well. Most of the departments have enough faculties for teaching and follows the latest competency based education. Teacher interaction is well with different types of classes including self directed learning, tutorials etc. Most of the faculties are well interactive and practical based education is promoted
