I am interested in studying civil engineering. And I came to know about some of the well-renowned colleges for civil engineering in Andhra Pradesh. And RVR&JC is one of them. So I decided to study in RVR&JC for which I got allowed through the eamcet counselling process.

The course curriculum is mainly aimed at the practical knowledge to the student. The laboratories and the equipment available are good and provide practical experience to the students. Electives are also included in the course which enhances students to study the interesting subjects they like. An open elective is also included which helps students to study interesting subjects apart from the course. The project that will be done in the 4th year will help a lot to the students to gain knowledge through self-study and also the practical knowledge.

Yes,recently our college is providing internship with tha help of PWD department in guntur district. Stipend will be based on the department or private company that the student may select

In our college, a few civil engineering companies visit the campus for recruitment. And many of the others are related to other branches. Every year nearly 600-700 students are being selected in the placements. Any student irrespective of his branch, if interested in the IT sector can participate in the recruitment process based on the interest of the company. Mostly the students studying in our branch aimed at post graduation.

Fresher's day:-celebrated every year at the beginning of the college as an interaction between seniors and juniors and the faculty. Youth Fest:-celebrated every year in the even semester. Competitions will be held to bring out the talent. Students willing from other colleges are also allowed to participate. Sports between different colleges will be conducted Annual day:-Celebrated in the month of February. Competitions will be held between the branches to win the title of the year. Sports are also conducted. Science exhibit day:- Conducted on 15th September(Engineers day) as a token of love towards Mokshagundam Vishveswaraya. Students are allowed to different projects and models and the best of them are selected and awarded. Many other events are conducted to bring cultural awareness among the students.

The fee structure is somewhat expensive. It is allocated by the government of Andhra Pradesh based on the infrastructure and facilities provided in the college. It's about 1,08,000 per year. Its expensive for ordinary students and college provides poor and merit scholarship to the students every year based on merit to help the poor students. However, the hostel fees are very feasible of about 39000 per year

Yes college givesa poor and merit scholarship of about 20000 every year to some of the selected candidates based on merit.

Campus life is excellent. The trees are planted on either side of the road. The gender ratio is 2:3. Extracurricular activities are also encouraged by the Student activity centre(SAC). Labs provide good practical knowledge to the students. Sports are also encouraged very well through the sports committee. NCC and NSS also exist in the college.

Hostel facilities and mess food are excellent. College provides a neat and tidy environment for the students. There is a 24 hr water supply. Indoor, as well as Outdoor Gymnasium and badminton courts, are available. Indoor games are also available. Outdoors games like volleyball courts, basketball courts, cricket ground is also provided for the student.

Yes, the alumni network is also good. We are provided with the contact emails of the alumni and we can contact them at any time. And they are very helpful and provide valuable information to us.

For a total of 100 marks. 60 marks are allowed for external examination. And 40 marks are allotted for internal examination. Out of 40 marks, 12 for assignment(an exam in which 2 questions out of 6 has to be answered), 18 for Midterm, 5 marks for attendance and 5 marks for student behaviour and punctuality. The external examination consists of 5 questions out of which 1st question contains a total of 12 1 mark questions. And remaining 4 questions consists of 2 questions out of which 1 has to be answered.

I wrote AP EAMCET-2015 and I secured 9832 ranks. And I selected and some of the well-renowned colleges for civil engineering in Andhra Pradesh and I opted them according to their statistics in the past years. And through the counselling process, I got allotment in RVR&JC College.

Well experienced faculty is available for the students in the college.Every faculty working in the college should have their Masters in Technology(M.TECH) degree. And faculty having full practical knowledge helps us to think beyond. College provides moodle services for students to contact the faculty through email at any time
