What Students Say
Likes
- It offers a lot of courses in different areas which include and are not limited to UG, PG, and diploma courses. This gives the students a variety of choices.
- Few faculty members are well-qualified and have practical industry experience. They add their own insights to the subject which make the otherwise boring subjects more interesting.
- The campus is average-sized and has some the essential things including sports facilities, medical facilities and more. It has subject specific labs, libraries and hostels for the students to stay.
Dislikes
- College do not host any cultural activities, nor any college fests. Students feel isolated from the outside as they wont let you go outside. There are very few interactions between students.
- Other than the few, most of the faculties take no interest in teaching or student interactions whatsoever. Their way of teaching is very traditional and fail to reach the students.
- The college facilities are very poor, including the labs. Even the sports complexes are very smaller than it should be.
Course Curriculum Overview
Ther is a diverse range of courses in various subjects which helps student select their choice of subjects and lessons. But the college is not upto the mark in teaching. Their subjects are far from the real-world needs of a student. The classroom is a very tradiitonal one, with a whiteboard and not-so-good benches. The exams are held periodicaly but are not upto the mark. The teacher are just horrible, they have no respect for students whatsoever.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuttion fee is very high with the respect to their teaching and is not worth in any way. They dont mention certain specific but important things explicitly on their websites which later on can be used to exort money from the students. Other than that in this respect the college in very transparent and can be trusted.
Campus Life
Their is absolutely no Campus life in this college. Nor is their any college fests but not even a single cultural acitivity is held in the college. The college also feels isolated as studnets are not allowed to go outside during the day and the interaction between different students is limited to clasroom.s
Admission
They have a easy to undersatnd adminssion process and the college is very transparent with respect to schloarships and the finanacial aid they provide during the duration of admission. Most of the seats are reserved for the state students, but a lot of students come from a variety of states.
Faculty
Faculty to Student Ratio is very high in some departments, which lead to less personalized attention. Large class sizes make it difficult for individual students to receive direct feedback and guidance from the teachers. Most of the faculty members at IPS Academy generally have Master’s or Ph.D. in their respective subjects, but that does not equate to higher teaching levels. Most of the teachers are very poor in dilivering their lectures. Thier interactions with students and undersatnading their feedbacks is very less.
