College life

MY Overall experience is totally satisfied. with money, as compared to other COLLEGESthis COLLEGE is more aware and focussed about studies and physical activities. and trending world and so on.

Faculty of my college is not too good but is educated they have practical as well as theoretical knowledge as well..their way of teaching is elaborative and descriptive and demonstrative., My teachers are polite, humble, gracious and intelligent. Almost all the faculty were very good especially faculty of Financial Accounting and Business Administration. The faculty provided good teaching and notes for better understanding. Mostly Our college provides internship for every course. For engineering students they have to perform practices like in electrical stream they have rewind motors, make the coil, making motor body e.t.c To do these jobs they don't get any stipend.

There is a good placement in this college. The campus already prepared us for job placement and skill development. Many companies come and conduct job fairs. They give an opportunity to prove them with their knowledge and skill. They offered a good package for selected students and the students who had not passed from them, we prepared him to again. They selected students by tier skill test and development skill. Many students got the job during graduation at this college.

We had two events celebrated in our college during 2002. One was Picnic which was always planned in advance by college senior staffs and the other big one was the celebration of the college annual day in the form of cultural week celebrations. There was an inter-college dance competition, inter-college singing competition followed by inter-college debate competition

Coming to the fee structure, I must say it was very very expensive and not feasible. Our fee structure was divided into four semesters and was paid in every three months. As compared to other government and private colleges, the fee structure was very high in our college.

The college had a tie-up with various government and private banks to provide loan facility to various students. I am aware of SBI educational loan facility that was available during that time. The college was providing 80%, 60% and 50% scholarship to top three students of a college in every stream.

The college had a good gender ratio. We had a good gender ratio of 60 girls per 40 boys. It was a good ratio for a newly opened co-ed English medium college. We had college elections every year to choose a new president and active student council. I also started first Charter Rotaract club in this college. And did some good projects for community service and professional development.

Our college was not providing any residential hostel facility during that time. So, outside students have to arrange on their own about their hostel or PG. There was small canteen in the college campus but that was also not able to serve the good quality food.

Unfortunately, we do not have any alumni network or senior students council till now. I am not in touch with any of my friends except just one or two on facebook.

The exam structure was very complex and hectic many times. I had internal exams (Theory and Practical ) almost every fortnight. There was a good amount of weight for internal exams score, and it was added to our final exams score. So, I must say a hectic schedule to cope with internal exams

We got direct admission in this college. The application form must be accompanied by attested copies of the following documents: Marksheet of the qualifying examination Transfer Certificate Migration Certificate Character Certificate from the Institute last attended Two passport size, recent, color photographs Bonafide Certificate (If belonging to Rural Areas). A candidate has to submit the original copies of the above documents.
