The Asia's first journalism university Makhanlal Chaturvedi

The syllabus of my course mass communication is very well designed that will help a student to learn how to choice there path whether they want there career in academic field or want to go any media agency. Every 2 month there is a internal assessment test and semester exam Every 6 month.

There are two types of internship that are Summer internship and winter internship which come in our college. There are PTI and ANI like news agencies that provide these internship for students. There are regional channel that to provide internship to this college students.

If you are a master student you can take internship or jobs after 2nd semester. And for Graduation students after 4th semester. This year many companies came for college placement. MP and Chattisgarh regional channel Vistaar News have came recently and taken students from this college. Highest package was 2.4LPAand average was 1.5LPA

Tution fees are average in terms of another journalism university. I have experienced that there is some percentage increase in tution fees. MP government scholarships are provided but not any college scholarships are provided.

In this college, we have 'Pratibha' which happens every year it is a type of college fest. In this there are Dance, Music, Sports and different types of competitions in which students take part. On this campus, we have a central library which provides us with various types of books. If you are interested in novels or poems they have all books. There are various types of clubs like Nature's Club. If you are interested in these clubs you can join them.

Hostel infrastructure is very modern and well maintained. The facilities they are provided in the hostel are very modern. The quality of the food is average, we get 4 time meal in a day. Talking about registration process of hostel is done while filling the admission form.

At my time there was a entrance test for college admission but now they take students by merit. After merit list they take interview of the selected students from merit list. Every admission related details have been provided on university website.

The faculty members are very experienced in there respective fields. They all have media industries knowledge and there approach towards students are very good. As a student I have approached to my professor's when ever I needed there help and they always helped me and supported me in my bad phase.
