FANTABULOUS PLACE TO STUDY

I think those 3 years that I spent at the college were the best years, I found college admin staff and faculty members really very helpful and if you are willing to take admission in this college, it's worth spending every penny...

Firstly, When I visited Ahmedabad I got to know that this college has been converted from government college to self-financed and now comes under GLS university. I enquired further and got to know that it's 2nd best college in Ahmedabad. Furthermore, I was pursuing CA along with B.com so this college best fitted for me as no attendance restriction once you provide institute letter to them...

The course curriculum was actually quite a hectic one but also it established good networking skills...Each semester there are two assignments submission and a project presentation which is needed to be done in a group of 10 students, Also a book review needs to be submitted upon a novel provided to you by the college library. The course subjects are designed in a much better way than other universities as new amendments are incorporated faster in our course.

My course does not include any internship so I can't talk about it as I have only heard that courses like BBA and BCA are provided with an internship in much better companies...

The best phase of life; During the 6th semester you all will get jobs before your final exams, Many big companies like ICICI, trade bulls securities, Adani came up for the placement. College also conducts a training session for its students which helps them in clearing the interview round along with written examination (if any)...One of my friends also got placed with an annual package of 2.25lakh p.a.

Annually college conducts many events I can list some of them below 1. The green economy was celebrated after the honourable prime minister initiative of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan 2. Days are celebrated every year like traditional days, western wear day etc. 3. A josh-an annual celebration of University at Gujarat convention and exhibition hall. 4. Annual sports meet for boys and girls separately. 5. Seminars for the students Willing to pursue post-graduation overseas.

I found it quite feasible as being the second popular college they charge very nominal fee....if I compare the same with HL college its nothing. The fees can be paid in lump sum or in instalments...you can pay through cheque or on their online students portal...

I have not availed any scholarship as there is no such scholarship provided by the college.. talking about the loan facility the college might have a tie-up with banks that you need to inquire at the admin desk. they will be able to guide you properly.

The campus is not so big as the entire campus get filled by the vehicles so the parking area is the only place where you can chill with friends...The gender ratio is quite similar but I think there are more girls than boys in the college... Recently college has built a GYM for its students having the best equipment...As a part of extracurricular activities, we were regularly taken for industrial visits and also to the old age homes, cancer hospitals, the orphanage to incorporate some good values In us and help them in any way we can..

The hostel facilities are not available in our college but its available in the university campus and have heard that the mess food is typical, Try finding a PG if you wanna study here so you can get a better living condition. If you ask me about the canteen food it's the best as the canteen have a tie-up with a brand name foodies.

We were the first batch of GLS university so we never found any seniors who could help us, but don't worry you could always seek help from us...The seniors will always be there for your help unless you don't create a mess with them...

Each year is divided into two semesters and each semester there are three exams 1. Multiple choice questions based on 30 marks 2. Internal exams 50 marks 3. University exams 100 marks Marks of project presentation, assignment and book review are also added among them...

The admission procedure was quite easier as we just need to fill up the complete form and submit it to the admin office for checking once they have checked the form, they will give you a receipt that will carry a unique number for your identification...If the admission is confirmed they will revert you back on the provided mobile number and will confirm your admission on the receipt of fees...

Talking about the faculty members, they are best-supporting systems anyone could ever get...They are just like friends and the teaching style is way better than many other faculties...All the faculty members are duly qualified along with a degree in PhD and CA so it clearly shows that how well versed they are with the particular subject they are teaching...
