Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is really hard for us and it also prepares us for the real world in order to treat patients The curriculum also makes the competition more competitive and helps everyone to make progress Areas of improvement could be changing the exam patterns and help students learn more and newer technology
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available for minority applicants only Open category applicants with the same qualifications do not get any scholarships which is a negative factor Tuition fees in the medical field are much higher including hostel costs Hikes are made every year in the hostel fees but no improvements are rather seen Stipends can be made by participating in the ICMR projects and mission indradhanush involving vaccination of the younger age group
Campus Life
The main festivals of the college include freshers event, the ganapati celebrations and the college day which are quite interesting but very less compared to the other colleges The books and accessibility and much more and everything can be found in the library related to the subjects It also has the internet facility with computers All the classrooms have projectors in it and it is the main form of teaching Biometrics are also availed in the classrooms The main sports played in the campus are cricket basketball table tennis and badminton Inter college fests for sports are also conducted
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are provided in either double or triple sharing You can opt for single sharing but the price is extra 20k for it Registering for hostels is done once your admission is confirmed The meal quality is not very good and there is a lot of water scarcity A lot of people rent nearby the college and it is quite convenient and cheaper
Admission
The eligibility of the course is to crack the NEET exam Application forms are to be filled in the counselling process for the same exam Fees are different for A category B category and C category students Reservation benefits are also provided and can be reduced by scholarships The NEET exam as we know it a bit difficult to crack and the cut off for my college at that time was 370
Faculty
The faculty infact keeps on changing a lot in the medical profession and it keeps on getting a bit difficult for the students to keep up with this But the helpful nature of everyone makes the students open up in front of the faculty members which really makes a difference The faculty is student friendly and we interact with them on a daily basis
