Course Curriculum Overview
The course in our curriculum are very good and according to latest technology also they include many Programming languages. We can improve our curriculum by decreasing maths and other theoretical subjects in our curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Wipro, pkware, TCS, Amazon offers internship to the students of chitkara University and they give through introduction rounds and group discussions and technical rounds to land an internship
Placement Experience
The placement scenario here is pretty good, almost all of the students land on jobs. The average package is 5-6 lakhs. Students from 6th semester become eligible for placement, companies like Wipro, TCS etc visit here making 1,500+ offers. Highest package was 54 lakh and 70%+ students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for one semester is 1,00,000 rupees for btech cse and no scholarship is available, financial assistance is given to some students and employment opportunities are good the placement ratio is better then other colleges.
Campus Life
Annual events happen like chitkara lit fest around December, so many events going on every month like it's a festival. Each and every genre and type of books are available here, classrooms are equipped with central AC, smart boards and a projector, sports here is amazing every sports' infrastructure is here. Coding ninjas, dev learn are the famous clubs here
Hostel Facilities
Facilities like single bed , study table, almirah, charging spots , lan cable for each student. Meal quality is not so good, registration starts some days before starting of classes and it's affordable, you can rent pg in rajpura or banur.
Admission
Eligibility is more than 70% marks in boards and appeared in jee mains is compulsory. The application form, application fees can be found on University's original website and no reservation benefits are there for backward classes and exam level is medium to difficult occurs once a month in the form of sessional tests (ST's)
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is 80:1 approximately and they give enough attention to students each, their approach to teaching is good but sometimes bad teachers also come, we can interact with them easily.
Interview Experience
There is no gd, interview for admissions here, they just give admission on the basis of boards results you need 70%+ in CBSE board to get admission here and jee mains appearance is also necessary for here
