- The campus is filled with greenery with a nice view.It comprises if facilities like basketball court,badminton court,library,common room and well equipped labs
- The college offers a variety of courses including self financed courses such as Microbiology,Geography,Mass Communication.
- Hostel facility is also available.The college has numerous number of clubs which gives students opportunities to showcase their talent and work on their skills.
Dislikes
- There is no parking facility available for students.
- Due to the college being almost 40 years old,some parts of the campus need to be renovated
- There is scarcity of water in the town as well as the college
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I love wildlife and have always aspired to become a Divisional Forest Officer. The subject is full of scope if one chooses to study it.The practicals could have been more interesting considering the subject requires visual learning and practice as well.Exams are not tough to pass but very hard to ace.If one wants to maintain good score and get nice CGPA by the time of graduation they really need to focus on the theory part
Fees and Financial Aid
The college, being semi-government, charges fees of 16k. There are also numerous scholarships one can avail, but these scholarships are provided by the government and not the college. Every year the college hosts a campus recruitment drive for the outgoing students. Various companies come to interview the students.
Campus Life
The college hosts events like fete,cultural fest.There are other events which are hosted by the various clubs of the club such as blood donation campaign by Nss.There are two government aided clubs Ncc and Nss.Ncc is a very good option for students who want to train themselves in terms of fitness and discipline.Nss can be chosen if one wants to contribute towards the society.The college participates in sports tournament such as volleyball, basketball, football and even marathon.
Admission
Anyone who has passed 10+2 with 50% marks in biology can opt for the course.The form is available on the college website along with all additional information.There is no entrance exam and the admission is merit based.
Faculty
The faculty members are very much qualified with most holding doctorate degree.Each department has highly qualified individuals.They are very punctual and their method of teaching includes visual classes as well as verbal teaching method.They are very much concerned about the performance of each student and push each student to strive for the best
