Staff and faculties are so kind to students
Eco friendly college and the college was made by kochin maharaja
We have gender neutral toilets in our college

Dislikes

Since it is a government college it takes time for any official needs
Exams wont happen on time. So it is really difficult
The college is less spacious and not so clean

Internships Opportunities

For the post graduation certificate it is necessary to have a internship certificate so every students should do an internship . On the internship for Msc statistics we opt for government offices for our internships

Fees and Financial Aid

Since this is a government college in kerala there is no tution fee or course fee we only have exam fees and hostel fees etc But for the students in reservation don't even have that and there is alot of scholarship for students

Since this is a government college we doesn't have a mangement who could restrict any college functions . And there is a good sports facilities for students , there is a library in our college from where students can take books

Admission

The eligibilty for this course was a graduation in mathematics or in statistics . You can apply to this college through online mode. There will be a minimum of 1 seat for every reservations. There was no entrance exam but there was a cutoff of 60%

Faculty

Faculties are really helpful . They are so professional and all of them have a good qualification . The faculties would complete all portions before our university exams and they would guide us in our internships

I choosed to study msc applied psychology in kerala university. Because it offers my interested specialization ( organizational behaviour) . The course provides three specializations - clinical , industrial and educational. This course have more oppurtunities in the present time as the data is increasing day by day and we are dealing with data. So we have more oppurtinities than any others. We have a special post in every fields. Course is doing only theory build up and less in concentrating the practical application side of the theory we have studied.

The best college for study

Course Curriculum Overview:

Obviously this physics course is tough but the influence of the teachers and other staff made us too motivated and the systematic exam schedule helped us to complete our portion before the exams and there is some more time for the revision purpose.. There teaching method are so useful and they treat us so politely and in friendly nature. So its too easy to clear doubt and feel comfortable to ask them and clear anything.. Its so helpful for us to complete our exam nicely...

Life at IITPKD

Remarks:

JEE Rank was the main factor. The facilities like hostel, labs, etc mentioned in the IIT Palakkad website. During the allotment process, one senior girl student of my branch contacted me and cleared all my doubts whether it was small or big, placement details, etc. After the rankings were released, based on the previous years cut-off ranks, I was able to get a fair idea about the colleges I would be able to join among all the IITs, NITs, IIITs. Based on JEE Mains rankings, NIT or IIITs can be chosen. Based on JEE Advance ranking, IIT can be chosen. Also, 2 mock allotment will take place which gives a fair idea of which allotment we will get. These mock allotment will be based on our preferences. We can change them after the mock. Then the actual allotment will start. Once we finalise our preferences and lock them, there will be 7 rounds of allocation. 3 options will be given in each round-Float, Freeze,Slide (details will be clearly mentioned in the website). Once you are allocated a seat in any round, document verification will take place (seat acceptance fee must be paid at this stage).
