Faculty is too good in the college. All the professors are too cooperative and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

I heard a lot about this college and it's faculty so I opted for this college whatever I heard about the faculty is too good it's one of the best college for Bcom honours and their teaching menthods are excellent

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 30240 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many roles offered by the companies for internships as a fresher like BPOs etc They provide many tasks to make prepare us for upcoming jobs which will be performed by us in future to live our lives

Placement Experience

The students become eligible after the 4th semester for recruitment Many companies visits the campus like TCS etc It offers good packages The highest is 5lakhs 90% of the students gets placement My plan is to become a CA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is quite affordable and there is a lot of scholarships available like the SVMCM then kanyashree etc anybody can avail that who has scored more than 50% in their 12th board exam and jobs are also provided my the college by campus recruitment

Campus Life

The college is too good it's environment is excellent There are many books in the library everything can be used by the students as per their need There are unions cultural forum ran by students for the betterment of the students and college Many festivals are celebrated like holi etc

Admission

Cut off is atleast 60% to apply but u should have more than 80% to get the seat And there is also reservations for sc st and obc The application form is available in the college website The application has no fees it's free of cost

Faculty

The faculty is too good. They make us learn things too good they are cooperative and do motivate us if we don't understand anything they help us to understand that rather than demotivating us and they are quite available incase anytime we need help

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college. A Glimpse of Jaipuria

I applied to other colleges such as Goenka college of commerce, scottish church, maulana azad, and city college but I chose this college because its closer to my home and also it has a pretty good reputation over the curriculum i had chosen.
