- Assignments are all given at once and even during exam times
- Some faculties are not that great and you have to refer to other resources to understand the subject
- Placements are not up to the mark since the average package overall is 7.5 lakh and for engineering is 9 lakh.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is on equal terms with the other engineering colleges for btech programs. The first year has basics of every engineering field while from 2nd year onwards we study about our specific branch. There is one mit term test and one end term test with one month gap in between them for every semester. The difficultly is above average and can be passed with 2 weeks prior preparation. The mot term consists of 35- 40% of the end term exam syllabus.
Placement Experience
Manipal University Jaipur offers campus placements starting from the sixth semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and Accenture frequently visit, offering roles in IT, consulting, and more. Salary packages are competitive, with high and average figures varying yearly.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure varies from branch to branch. For my branch computer science, the tution fees is 410000 with 10000 rs in registration and 15000 caution deposit. Total coming out to be 435000. The scholarships include- Economically challenged scholarships,sibling scholarships, excellence scholarships and NRI scholarships.
Campus Life
campus life at Manipal University Jaipur is pretty chill! There's always something going on – from fests and events to clubs and sports. The campus is buzzing with activities, and you meet so many cool people from different places and backgrounds.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities at MUJ are quite comprehensive and convenient. Each room is equipped with essential furniture like beds, study desks, and storage units, ensuring a comfortable living and study environment. The campus provides reliable internet connectivity, essential for academic work and staying connected with friends. Although it is not quite affordable with fees over 250000 per year. The security is also pretty good with access to outside and back only thru tapping id cards and hostel curfew at 11 pm. The campus is also very safe for women.
Admission
The admission process can be through 2 ways- direct admission and thru MET exam. I came thru the met exam which was moderately difficult and had a rank of 17369 thru which i selected my branches thru various manipal colleges. After which i got my first preference which was manipal university jaipur cse aiml.
Faculty
All the professors are highly educated with phd's and most of them are fairly lenient with the attendance, issues with the subject or any other issue the students are facing. The teachers all have given their phone numbers to us so that we can whatsapp them any query regarding their subject.
