Likes
- Teachers in bca department have a very friendly relationship with their students. A personal bond is developed with them.
- Comouters are uo to date. Technical department does their work perfectly. Even if you face any issue Rakesh Bhaiya is always there to check
- Labs are Air conditioned with comfortable seats and environment.
Dislikes
- Theory rooms does not have ac. Sometimes even fans are not working properly. Alot of humidity in these rooms.
- They charge fees for parking area which is underdeveloped. It is always dirty. Tins in the ceiling of parking are broken.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is still lack of practical knowledge. More focus is given on theory. No new experiments related to field are done to increase the knowledge of students. Theory is taught with excellence. You will literally have points on your fingertips. Practical is done but only from books. In the computer field i personally feel you need to step out of the box to prepare for real world. One cannot rely only on books. They conduct tests on regular basis. After commencement of every semester within 10 days you have your first test. Till Mid sem exams they already take tests of almost half of the syllabus with is one of the best things because it helps a lot in preparation for final exams.
Internships Opportunities
You can get internship but they offer only local company jobs whose pay are not much. You can definitely apply to the same college after your post graduation for teaching job. Every year a student from msc batch joins as teaching faculty without ugc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is approximately 50000 per year. You have to pay the fees in 3 installments. There are some separate charges as well like parking fees, farewell charges etc. You can get concession by contacting the head of the department. Most of the concession is given to EWS. You can apply for teaching job after msc in the same college.
Campus Life
Overall experience is good. It can be better. Campus life is a little boring because there are a lot of rules to follow. You cannot use mobile phones in the lawn. They are permitted only in canteen. Functions celebrated annually are freshers, farewell, sports day,teej and business mela. Sometimes teej is collaborated with other fests.business mela is a great opportunity for students to improve their business skills. Other option is NSS to improve social skills and services
Admission
You can apply to BCA with aby stream. You have to buy the prospectous and admission form from the reception for 200rs. Submit all the necessary documents and complete admission form with first installment fees for admission. There is also scholarship for single girl child.
Faculty
Honestly, you can easily interact with teachers whenever you face any difficulty. They are highly intellectual. There is a different bond formed with them. From some teachers you actually get that motherly feeling. They will not leave any query unattended. You can easily talk to them about anything. And they have complete knowledge of their field.
