- The campus life is pretty good with lots of facilities and good looking too.
- They are lots of clubs and activities to join and participate in.
- They have esports in multiple games which is pretty rare in a college.
Dislikes
- The fees incase of low attendance or backs is pretty high which isn't good
- The rush in the morning hours is too much for the lifts so we have to climb stairs mostly
- Some lecturers are arrogant but you have an option to choose on our own
Course Curriculum Overview
Well the curriculum in the first year was just the basics for the course. These will be very useful in the future. As for the exams they are pretty easy completely based on what they teach. You get one and a half hour for the mid exams and two hours for the sem exams.
Internships Opportunities
You can get an internship as soon as in 2nd year and you have to complete the course then do some projects given by the internship company. Which if you do good they'll start paying you for the internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is pretty high to be honest with 2,39,000 being the fees in the first year and it keeps increasing by some value every year for the next 3 years. As for scholarships you get a chance when you write the admission exam. With the condition being that you have to get under a specific rank to get a scholarship.
Campus Life
They are many festivals and activities held in the college but the main one is the GITAM Shore fest the biggest fest in any GITAM which is held in the main branch of the college which is in Vizag. It's held every year with multiple activities being promoted and supported including esports which is very rare.
Hostel Facilities
As for living the college hostel is pretty good but costly as well at 1,50,000 rupees per year. It has pretty good facilities which proves it's worth. The food also being pretty good and overall the maintenance is very neat. Also they are pgs right in front of the college which offer rooms for way less price but at the cost of lack of facilities.
Admission
We have to write an admission exam called as GAT Gitam Admission Test. Which you have to get qualified inorder to get admission in the college. You can find the application form in the gitam website and you have to pay a small fee of 3000 rupees for the application. The applications usually start from March every year.
Faculty
The faculty is pretty qualified although some of them feel a bit less qualified only in terms of their speaking skills except that the teaching is pretty good. The interaction between the students and teachers is also pretty easy thanks to the whatsapp groups.
