- Professors and their excellent teaching methods involving many examples and good theory explanation with proper powerpoint presentations
- The availablity of a quiet and peaceful library where many books are provided of all genres
- The placement cell offers various internships and job opportunities which is an amazing aspect to consider
Dislikes
- The cancelling of lectures as it had us traveling and wasting money for nothing at all
- A disrespectful lady watchman, she would never talk nicely to anyone and would always be rude
- Overall the college is pretty good and I don't dislike anything as such
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen BMS with a major in marketing. The syllabus and the curriculum I find balanced overall. Although projects and assignments are tedious, I reckon their all but made compulsory by the University. The exams timings and dates are thoughtfully set.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by many startup companies to students right from the first year to the third year. Companies like TATA starbucks, Corizo Edutech, Younity and Edutech companies mostly hire internship for the role of BD from the college.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements after Sem 5. Morgan Stanley, fourth signal, Citi group are some companies that hire students from this college. The highest I estimate is 50,000 INR that's would be offered and the lowest would be 6000 INR. But 30% of students get placements overall. I plan to avail campus placements after earning my degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are given on the college annual day. The course fee would include tuition fees which would be 17,000 and library fee, gymkhana fee, etc. covers the rest and including GST, the fee would come up to 20,000
Campus Life
There is amazing but limited range of books available in the library. The library also provides students with a server that includes all their main syallabus covered. Sports is not given much of an importance in the college although extracurricular activities are encouraged with the help of various departments like NSS, DLLE, etc
Admission
A cut off is set which for BMS is usually based on 12th percentage and includes 55% for science, 78% for commerce and 65% for arts. First you would need to fills the Mumbai University form followed by the form provided in the college website. There is reservation of seats for minority.
Faculty
The faculty is extremely approachable and non judgemental. They're very helpful and formal. Overall, they're teaching methods are excellent and they're proven experience in the field that qualify in is also a plus point here. I often do not interact with the teachers although they're very approachable.
