Course Curriculum Overview
This course allowed me to the two aspects of paint first is of the formulation of the different paints as per there environmental exposure conditions and secondly there application in different fields. We are offered with the different industrial tours and we used to do the practical in our college laboratories to gain the practical knowledge under the guidance of the faculties. There are two mid sem exams and one end sem exam in a semester. Frequency of exams is once every one and half months
Internships Opportunities
Talking about internship offered in my branch is TATA , MARUTI SUZUKI , MANCUBIZ , BERGER, NEROLAC, SHALIMAR, MAHINDRA, BAJAJ, PPG ASIAN PAINT, ASIAN PAINTS , DULEX PAINTS , ROYAL ENFIELD, DRDO , EKZONOVEL, DOW CHEMICALS..,and etc. To be factual Internship are 60 % unpaid in nature but 40% are of them are paid .
Placement Experience
From the seventh semester students becomes eligible for campus placements. Companies visited in my branch (i.e Paint Technology) are Maruti Suzuki, TATA AUTOCOMP , Yamaha, Hero, Bajaj ,TATA MOTORS, Uno minda , Escorts Kubota, Berger paints, Asian paints, Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, Indigo , Sswl , Shalimar Paints, Varroc, etc Placement percentage was 100% My plans after degree is to continue with the organisation in which I got placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees is 127500/- And no other fees is applicable If you are not using any other facilities like Hostel , mess Here we are provided with the UP scholarship or in simple terms State scholarship and a special funds provided by university for Economical weaker section. I have been placed at TATA AUTOCOMP from this college at a position of GET on a package of above 8LPA
Campus Life
There are many annual fest organised in college there is ADHYAY as annual cultural fest , TECHNIKA as annual technical fest , AAGAJ as annual sports fest and many more.. There is a two floor and a basement floor library present in college campus Classrooms comprise of AC , smart board and green boards There are many councils and sub councils like NSS, Literary sub council , Finamics , Hobby sub council , Dramatic sub council, sports sun council, Technical sub councils, Cultural sub council, Music sub council and etc.
Admission
Eligibility of course is only you should pass Jee mains with AIR under 100000 Application procedure is started after declaration of Jee advance result at university website. Level of exams are moderate and they are organised once in every 1.5 months
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is , if I talk about my batch there was 42 students and faculty was 7 and this was the ratio with all the branches so ,I can conclude a ratio of 6-7 students per teacher. Teachers delivers lectures on daily basis on green board as week as smart board as per the requirement to make students understand the respective topics. Teachers and students interaction is very friendly and smooth ..as we were told very first day of our college that we are a family. Hence teachers act as family members very friendly and interactive towards us.
