Best college for civil engineering

This college is best for civil, electrical, mechanical engineering only. For other courses, this college is not good at all. There are fights and disputes among students and sometimes classes are off.

This college is famous in our city for engineering and its fees are easy and all the faculties are really educated and this is near to my home. Some of my friends suggested me about this college as here all the practicals instruments and labs are available and other infrastructure facilities are perfect here.

Different engineering courses are available here. I am a civil engineering student. I have 8 semesters following 2 midterm tests every semester. 75% attendance is mandatory here otherwise your form will be rejected. Other courses are also available but this college is best for the mechanical, civil, and electrical branch.

From last 2 years, no company came here for an internship for the civil branch. Only a few companies came for information technology branch and the interview was held for them. I didn't find this college good for an internship.

No placement opportunities for civil, electrical, the mechanical branch from last 2-3 years. Before 2015 only a few companies came but no students got the job. Job opportunities are only good for information technology, fashion technology etc Branches. And they provided nearly 20k per month salary.

All the important events like independence day, republic day, an annual function is celebrated every year here with a lot of performances and ground full of crowd. People from abroad come here to see our performances and guests including celebrities also visit us between events. Sitting facility is proper for all the events and media is also included in events.

For every semester fee is 30000 rupees for all category students. Also 2500/month mess charge and 1000/semester hostel charge. And scholarship is also Given for sc/st candidates. It is not so expensive as compared to the quality of education is available here.

No scholarship is available for general category candidates. But for other categories like SC/ST, there is the facility of scholarship. They are provided half of their fee expense return. Loan facility is not available here.

The campus is very big and spacious including gardens, grounds, classrooms etc. All the laboratories for the practicals are available with all the testing equipment and which is visited by us every week. The gender ratio is generally 3 boys over one girl in students. And 3 male. Teachers at 1 female teacher. Sports competition is held every year following games like cricket, basketball, badminton etc and medals and prizes are distributed among students. The field visit is also done by us every month.

The hostel is really good, clean, spacious, big and different for male and female which is available at a very less monthly fee. Mess provided nice food 2 times a day at 12:00 pm and 8:00 pm and breakfast at 8:00 am. So for students from abroad, that's really nice.

Few seniors students are supportive but not every senior. Our senior provides us with some books and guides us about the exams and tests. They also help us in each function by helping us organizing events.

Exams are held every year in December and June which is completed in 20 days. And in next month the result is declared. Exams are little bit difficult and you should not fail in more than 5 subjects in a year. If you will study daily you will pass easily. Classes are from 11:00pm to 4:30pm.

I got admission in this college on basis of my diploma grades in polytechnic college. So I filled the form online and I got my name in merit because my diploma CGPA was 7.9 and 12th percentage was 83.75%. I got admission in the civil branch in second counseling round.

The faculty is gates qualified and master. Degree holders and well-experienced teachers here. Every branch has nearly 40 teachers including the head of the department. Teachers are so calm and they help every student in the study. Even they provide extra classes for students who don't understand any topic.
