GGSIPU EDC, USAR REVIEW

I chose Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning is booming in today's world and it has the best placements, the curriculum is moderate and challenging. The faculty members are highly qualified they have Ph. D.s from foreign institutes,iits, nits, and some have qualified Mtech from IIT's . The teaching methods are good according to me, they listen to every doubt, and the teaching method is simple and to the point. We also have doubt sessions, and Some teachers do not mind answering questions after the class.

College placements are done on the basis of skills and score of students. Many big MNC and company like google, Amazone, TCS, HCL, Infosys etc. are here to place skilled students. AIML and AIDS like courses are in demand now a days so also off campus options are available every time for this. here around 30 % students are placed of every batch. After this course doing masters is a great plan because it open ups more job opportunaties. Average package provided here is around 8 lpa to 12 lpa

For Btech courses here fees for a year are around 1,40,000 excluding Hostel fee and Mesh charges (they both are around a lakh per year) and according to the facilities provided this is acceptable. On campus placements are not started yet in this college.

Campus life is best in terms of sports, festivals and events . Also, clubs provied better understanding and intraction with seniors.Here library is outstanding providing variety of books and sample papers and also library opens till 8 pm so that hostelers can study without any disturbance.

Hostel fees is around 26,000 and mesh fees is around 42000 here. which looks fine but here in hostel even basic facilities are not provided like AC and WIFI which are promised before. Mesh here provied low quality food to students and even after several complains and objections no action is taken by hostel authorities. Also hostel staff is not cooperative and won't enterrain your complains.

For admissions in GGSIPU EDC in btech courses students should clear the JEE mains exam and also they have to score more than 75 percentile. The admission and selection of student is done by IPU counselling which contain around 4 to 5 rounds and if score is low then also student habe chance to get in by spot rounds. All required forms and insights of college are provided on college's official website.

The faculty provided here are nice and also they are cooperative in many aspects but course is not completed most of the time by faculty and they just give all as homework or say to do it yourself. In the starting of semester class are canceled and skipped because of which course is not completed at time and then just before exam they start taking extra classes covering a semester syllabus in just one class. For students other than CR's appirachability to faculty us difficult. faculty won't entertain any query after class is over and also they won't look for students query in homework.
