Maharajas college Ernakulam

I am pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Arts in political science. The syllabus is wide and acceptable. It includes an introduction to political theory..political science, International relations, Public administration etc These are arranged well for the three years of our study and it will equip us with a broad and deep knowledge of political science. Exams are held for a gap of 4 months regularly.

My college offers research in every subject and also an internship guide. As I am from the arts stream, I am not aware of the internship facilities of the science stream but I heard about the projects and others done by students and the assistance that the college gives.

My college has a broad types of courses but only charges lower fees. The fees for the students who are not applicable for any type of scholarship are only 2030 per year The college provides different types of scholarships to students and an important among them is the egrantz scholarship. Students who are applicable to this scholarship have only 40/- per year and this is the least fee I knew

My campus life was really enjoyable and memorable. It had a good ancient type of infrastructure and was covered with trees. My college often had different types of occasions and festivals mainly Onam, Christmas, holy, college day, Fresher's Day, convocation day, etc. My college has a good library with more than 5000 books. It was really helpful for both students and teachers. Sports are also really good and coaching for different games is given.

College have both womans and mens hostel on their own. Registration starts with the college and the students from far away have priority in the admission to the hostel. The food are good and have no complaints on that matter. Fees are taken monthly and it was below 3000

My course is ba in political science and the eligibility for this program is higher education passed with 50% above. As my college is very reputed only students more than 90% have chance to get here. Application is done in the college website as my college is autonomous. The application process has reservations for students belonging to SC/ST, OBC OEC, etc.

My college faculties are excellent and well trained. Most of the faculties in my college have PH.D in their area of subject. They're all well-educated from reputed universities... There are 1: 10 student ratio. so this ratio helps the teachers to know the students well and is so helpful to students also. They often interact with us and never miss the classes...All teachers are approachable whenever we want and they are very friendly to us
