Campus life at Jnu

Now here I would like to point about the mode of payment of fees & unnecessary late fees fine. No industrial visit being initiated from management side.

As one of uncle or should I say relative was the part of management of jnu, he advised me to take admission in the university while I was searching for the best hospitality institute which can provide me with the avenues to be a part of this university.

Well to be precisely speaking during 1st year your foundation being laid out in all 4 core department. After that in first 6 months we got to know about the operationional part & after 6 months we being sent for industrial training in 5 star hotels for a period of 20 weeks & again after that being here in college for another 1 year

Yes the college is having internship part being included, we being sent for 6 months in various 5 stars hotels during 2nd year.

Well to be precise on this there are various placement companies which came into our campus, so to select finest candidates for hospitality industry. Oberoi, itc , Marriott, ihg, and various other retail companies have visited for the recruitment & soon we are expecting some more.

There are certain events being organized by the cultural committee, so that one can enjoy while studying also it provide one with the stress free environment. Our annual 3 day event being organized in September end , and various programs being organized but the most awaited are group dance and fashion show.

Well the fees is also having moderate fees structure, it's ones will to pay annually or half yearly no additional discount being given if being paid priorly. Also late fees fine is too much & also payment method is not suitable as they don't accept cheque as a medium of payment.

Well yearly one candidate from each group got entitled to receive scholarship of RS. 5000. Apart from this no loan is to be provided as per my knowledge.

Campus life is really great we have canteen as well as a kiosk being named as tea post. And we got students from all over india as well as from various other African countries. Lushy green gardens, equipped with gym, all sports ground one can enjoy the ambience here in university.

The hostel as per the money which they are charging is to much. The food is also not good but no doubt the menu designing is really great. During the initial year I was also a hosteler but later on I switched and opted for PG. Both hostel of boys and girls are separate.

We do get in touch with them also alumini speak being organized on regular who became good professionals in this field.

The exams are being taken by the semester system, so one has to appear for 2 mid term exams and after that 1 practical exam & lastly have to appear for end sememster exam both theory as well as practicals. Prior to that one week preparation leave is being provided.

I got the admission with the reference of my uncle so he helped me with the further process & after appearing for interview the director told me that you've been selected. Earlier I was thinking for joining iihm but to my surprise they were not having enough equipments like jnu.

The faculty during my initial year was exceptionally great as we were having great and they have spent many years in hospitality industry. 2 of the faculties being recognized nationally. For each of the department they were having specialized faculty but now as many of the faculties have already so it's quite a boredom
