Course Curriculum Overview
Key elements of the assessment plan include specific, measurable and related to units mission. It includes both qualitative and quantitative measurements. There are direct and indirect measures for the assessment of course curriculum. Results are also very important.
Internships Opportunities
No internship will be provided by the college. But for encouraging the student's prizes are distributed who stood first, second and third in academics.
Placement Experience
Vignan's Lara Institute of Technology and Science provides placements to the 70 per cent of its students in top MNC's like TCS, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc. And 20 per cent of the student's option for higher studies. Some students got into government sectors based on their GATE rank.
College Events
We celebrate events like Srujankura. Vignan Mahotsav, Vignan's sports fete and some of the cultural fests like traditional day etc. Many competitions are held and the students from other colleges also participate. Project expos are also held and for the best project prizes will be distributed.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For my batch college fee is 65k. It is reasonable and we have the opportunity of getting the fee reimbursement of amount 35k. But coming to later batches fee is gradually increased. Comparing to my batch fee structure it is a little bit expensive. This is one of the limitations.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no scholarship provided by the college and they can encourage students who got good percentage in their academics.
Campus Life
We have lots of fests like Srujankura, Mahostav, Sports feet and some of the cultural fests like traditional day etc. There is no gender discrimination and unity will be there among us. Labs are the places where we learn things practically. We have Volleyball court, cricket court and basketball courts etc.
Hostel Facilities
Mess food is ultimately good. There is no other college providing the quality food like Vignan in my surroundings. The hostel is also good. The hostel is providing wifi and we have badminton courts in the hostel. Hotel premises are also in a very clean manner. There are separate hostels for boys and girls.
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah. We have alumni named Sridhar babu who is in the administrative ladder. He comes once in a week and helps IAS registered students.
Exam Structure
Vignan's Lara Institute of technology and science is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Exams pattern is given by JNTUK. We had two mid examinations and then external examinations. There are assignments in each subject after completing every unit.
Admission
I got admission by my EAMCET rank in this Institute. The admission process is, after declaring the Eamcet result we have to choose the college in the list by using the college code. Based on the Eamcet rank if you are eligible then the seat is provided to you by the college.
Faculty
Based on their subject knowledge and the way they teach. The main thing is that how much they injected into the students by using either blackboard or by using powerpoint presentations. How the way they handle the subject and students with their knowledge.
