- The building of this college is properly maintained and every classroom has enough space with a good quality of benches, it has projectors too in almost every classes.
- Labs are full of equipments and tools which are required for the Pharmacy students
- All teachers are very supportive and helpful in every aspects. 20-25 students are alloted to a teacher and that teacher is as the mentor for them
Dislikes
- There is no pharmaceutical plants nursery in tha campus, like other colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
This program (b.pharm) has many courses that teach us about the medicines and how to deal with the prescription. Teaching method should be more practical. And students should be exposed to the pharmaceutical industry regularly, so that they can learn more easily about the course Frequency and timings of examination are all good. As it varies from college to college, so in case of my college it is excellent. They have a proper schedule for the examinations
Fees and Financial Aid
As I mentioned earlier, every year fees are increased by 5%. But it is constant in some conditions like in the case of students who pay their fees by DRCC. They have scholarships for Uttarakhand students, girl students, government officer's children, according to the 12th marks, and many more. It will cost me 800000 approx to complete my b.pharm (excluding my hostel and food charges).
Campus Life
There are many events and functions which are held almost every month of the year. Every festival is celebrated on campus with some events. College fest is also organized in campus every year in March-April. Diwali carnival, Holi Fest, and many more are celebrated. Every national or international day is also celebrated. Many books and journals are available in the library and also every edition of Indian Pharmacopoeia is available. Books by foreign authors are also available. Teachers use the projector for some selective topics to teach more efficiently. Annual sports meetings with inter-university competitions is organized every year. Sometimes interuniversity competition is also organized. There are many social clubs who work in their respective fields and their respective are organised under their control.
Admission
All Students who have completed their 10+2 with PCM/PCB with more than 50% are eligible for this course. Students can apply for this course on the official website of the university at www.uudoon.in There are no any reservation benefits
Faculty
The teachers are approachable easily by any students, they are all good by nature. All teachers are well qualified and experienced to teach the students. Sometimes, it happen that the way of teaching of some teachers are not good, then they adapt as per the students.
