- The environment of Banaras Hindu University is inexpressible it is wonderful, eco friendly. There is absolute greenery in the college with peacock roaming around cherishing the beauty of the campus.
- Fees of our college is comparatively very less in comparison to any other central university my last semester fees was only 1625rs which is bearable for every student.
Dislikes
- Semester are not completed at regular time , they sometimes extends it very long and sometimes keeps it very short.
- This is a serious issue , here they allow people from outside and this is something I hate very much.. they ruin the beauty of our campus and often create traffic in the college.
- The buildings of arts faculty of BHU is very old I know it's a privilege to study in such rooms but they need improvement.. the old CHC building is very old and needs to be repaired.
Course Curriculum Overview
Here you are not burdened to focus only on the graduation degree, in some courses it is for sure , but the course I have chosen is not that tough, so it becomes adequate to get skills and also focus on your goal. Course curriculum is quite effective but sometimes the syllabus is not completed till the semesters exam and then also they conduct the exam which I think is bad.
Internships Opportunities
I don't have much idea about that but I would like to share some experience of my friends who are involved in such things , one of my friends has taken the internship in a company I forgot the name , he is learning the job of a translator, hr is pursuing german Hons degree , and he often tell me that after completion of degree he will be placed in good company with effective package.
Placement Experience
The course which I have taken has no campus placement scenario, in the same course students who have chosen other subjects like economics , German, Russian, statistics etc has the campus placement of around 5-6lakh per anum
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is very less my admission fees was around 2500 and it included fees of one semester and in this fees you get the services of library health care etc they also give scholarship to the students in the head of UP scholarship program
Campus Life
The overall experience is great because my goal is to become a civil servants so I found the environment very favorable to it for learning new skills and nurturing myself in the better environment , infrastructure is quite good , various fests on social occasions happen oftentimes and sports scope is also good.
Hostel Facilities
I have opted for hostel but I have not been alloted the seat of hostel so I don't have much idea about that but ky friends resides there so I have some knowledge about it , it's annual fees is around 3600rs full time electricity facility with unlimited internet connection and good food.
Admission
For bachelor's degree you need to pass intermediate or diploma with atleast 50% . Here I get admission through CUET my score was 415/500 in the 2022 exam which got converted into 324.4 in the normalisation , exam process was easy but it took long time to complete.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is quite reasonable, in one class almost 50 students sit together and it is manageable for teacher to educate them better. The faculty are well qualified and intelligent. I regularly interact with them , specially my philosophy professor I like her teaching style very much.
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Political Science)
It was very far from my home town.
