From just placing students to actively playing a role in grooming and molding a student to be Corporate ready, the placement cell activities have grown over the years. Training programs are designed to sharpen basic business acumen and improve general knowledge. Targeted courses are charted to enhance employability skills.
Placement Experience
The crowning factor of any MBA program is placements. The robust placement cell at Institute of Management, CHRIST(Deemed to be University) has been functioning effectively for over 15 years. The cell has grown along with the institute, from placing 60 students in the year of inception to working on placing over 700 students last year. We had over 130 organizations from different sector namely IT, BFSI, Consulting, FMCG, Health care, Automobile, Real estate, Hospitality etc. The number of organizations and the compensation has consistently increased over the years. Our highest compensation this year has been 14 L and we averaged at 6.5L. At least 70% of the companies who visit have recruited from us in the past which talks about the quality of our students and every year there are about 25 % new organizations.
College Events
Annual Art Entrepreneurship performance by the final year PEP students. This program is designed to provide the theoretical and practical experience on merging art and business. Students invest and showcase a performance at an identified venue outside campus to understand the dynamics of an independent art venture. Participants design posters, conduct rehearsals, create performance format, and finally market their show. Faculty member’s act as guides and mentors for this program. Music, dance and theatre performances are combined as all students taken investment and returns accountability for this business venture. In 2015 “Celebrations” was performed on 23rd of September as a ticketed show at Rangasthala, Rangoli Metro Art Centre, Bengaluru at 5pm and 7pm.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for both years, there may be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs. 1. NRI fee is applicable for candidates who have studied foreign syllabus (has to be approved by UGC / AIU) in the qualifying examination of study in India. (The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category). (The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category). 2. NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the programme for candidates who; 2.1. Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India. 2.2. Are NRI and candidates who have applied under NRI category. 3. To claim Indian / Karnataka category fee, the candidates should have studied last 7 years in India / Karnataka. (Not applicable for OCI, PIO and Foreign Nationals). 4. Admission registration fee of INR 5000/- is non-refundable in the event of cancellation of admission. This fee will be apart from cancellation charges if any applicable. 5. All Candidates If “Selected” after appearing for the final selection process, The fee may be paid through the following option: Pay via bank transfer to South Indian Bank, Christ University Branch. To pay via bank transfer, Candidates must contact accounts@christuniversity.in for details. Payment / Transfer of fees does not guarantee the admission.

Hostel Facilities
i dont live in the college hostel i live in as a paying guest near by. but the hostel in sot that great with the fooding. People mostly dont live in hostel and try to find a flat or pg near by. But its great to be inside the campus. and moreover i am not sure about the hostel structure but can be found in university web page.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, some alumni also come to teach us and take activity sessions. its too good to learn from someone of our generation.
Exam Structure
This paper is offered as a compulsory subject in the first trimester. Accounting is at the heart of the information age. By studying this course, the student will learn about the concepts, rules and procedures, and analysis that are useful in everyday activity connected to finance. This course describes the concepts of accounting, its principles, users and uses of the accounting information, recording of transactions in journal, ledger and subsidiary books, bank reconciliation statement and trial balance. The course also discusses preparation of income statement and balance sheet and financial statement analysis. This course attempts to familiarize the students the concepts, principles and the role of accounting in business so as to make them skilled enough to analyze and interpret the financial health of an organization and use the same for fact based decision making.

As per UGC guidelines, fee payment has to be made through online mode. Faculty
Demonstration Class in all the Teaching Method subjects,Personality Development Workshop, Theatre in Education,Panel Discussion,Work- shop for Teachers is held every year. FACULTY: 90% of them are fresh out of post graduation from local universities and have zero knowledge and zero expexperience. MANAGEMENT: rivals the likes of nazi Germany. Few of the rules are: a) formal shoes, shirt and pants everyday. b) 85%attendence c) management consists of people in white frocks (fathers) who have little sympathy and are cold hearted.
