Pros and Cons of Uka Tarsadia University

Overall Curriculum is good but sometimes i feel there are several topic that are useless and like parroting, which I don't feel beneficial. The practical scheduled in this curriculum are very helping and many trips are organised at industry which intimate us to learn more and apply in future jobs. There are total 2 unit test followed by internal and external per semester which is good for scoring more. Exams are moderately difficult.

This university helps to crack various exams and get stipend for that. No stipend is provided by the university. Projects are available in this campus regulated by the university committee. Faculty will helps to get selected in summer internship program and courses.

Last semester students are eligible for campus placements. Abundant of companies visit Uka Tarsadia University that are mentioned on its official Website. Highest package is 10Lpa and minimum is 2Lpa. Placement rate depends upon the department of course for example, BSc IT has 100% placement rate. I'll surely go for research purposes after my post graduation.

Scholarships are provided to the students who belongs to Sc/St and economically backward students. I feel fees for master is on the point. Hostel is available and bus service is available for nearby cities which is helpful for students. 106000 is per semester fees. And during first year perhaps 10000 are taken extra. Campus placement is available and various conferences are arranged in this campus to learn and explore more.

Many festivals and annual are celebrated in Uka Tarsadia University Campus. A huge beautiful library is infrastructured that has abundant of books, journals and thesis which is automated. All the colleges of this university are good but some lacks AC. Extracurricular activities and sports are enjoyed every year. Several drama, dancing, writing, singing,etc. groups are on compus which helps in overall development of student.

Single seater, two-seater and 4 seater rooms are available. Different hostel for boys and girls in the campus at different corner which makes safer environment. Hostel food is an average and having gujarati taste. Hostel fees varies based on the room seater you selected with or without AC. It is mainly between 70000-80000. It increases every year. Many pg are available near the university which are also good and their charges varies on the basis of distance and food.

For Microbiology and Biotechnology department, there is no exam and cutoff required. Those who completed their graduate degree in science are eligible for M.Sc. Microbiology. All the application details are at admission office and also available on it's official Website which is easy to explore. No reservations benefits but you may get scholarship if you belongs to SC or ST. There are total 2 unit test, 1 internal and 1 external per semester which is boost our score. Moderately difficult exams. Admission procedure is smooth and doesn't require any improvement.

The faculty are PhD qualified and well-mannered. The number of faculty is less than the requirements which is a problem at some point. Faculties way of teaching is genius. There are varieties of topics covered in syllabus which helps to clear national level examination. Teachers are very helpful and problem solving. Whatever doubt and troubleshoot do we have, are easily solved by them.
