A Decent College of Aktu

The College Campus is smaller as compared to other colleges. The management lacks a bit and is slow and pompous.

It is one of the best private colleges of Aktu. It is currently the best private college among the colleges of Aktu. It has a decent placement result and a good industrial exposure. Major companies Visit the college for placements and The placement is nearly 90-100%

The Course Curriculum is decided by AKTU and the college strictly follows its pattern. There are five units per subject and both Internal and external assessment is done for each subject. The Marks of internal are decided on the basis of Sessional exams and Assignments whereas the External marks are evaluated by AKTU through external exams.

No, the college doesn't provide an internship. One has to opt for external internships if they are willing for it.3 Summer Training is compulsory in 4-yrs b.tech program

The placement is decent and almost everyone gets placed. The average package ranges around 3-4 L.P.A Mostly Software Companies visit the campus like TCS HCL Wipro Cognizant etc. The highest package is around 10 L.P.A The Job opportunities are good as the college ensures 100% placement.

There are various cultural fests and events going on in the college throughout the year. Each of the Departmental clubs conducts their own fests from time to time. Apart from the Departmental Fests, there is the major Fest Called UNIFEST which is the biggest of all and Many other colleges also take part in it.

The fee structure is ?116000 for Academics (B.tech) with ?7500 AKTU University Fee. It seems quite expensive for students from middle-class families. The hostel fee is ?85000(4-seater) ?95000(3-seater) and ?100500(2- seater) For boys (All Non-A.C) and for girls, it is around ?130000 (A.C) (3-seater)

Loan Facility is offered by the college To Economically weaker students Scholarships are provided by Aktu, for which the students have to fill a form and submit it in the college.

Campus life is cool with Gender ratio 3:1 (Boys: Girls) There are a lot of extracurricular activities and events. There are many clubs of Robotics Dance management and many other which makes college life more Soothing. There are various fests which enhance the College life.

The hostel is Not so good and the mess food is not worth even a single Penny There are Common Room Zym and various Indoor Sports facilities inside the hostel. The Boy's Hostel Doesn't have A.C and Lift whereas the Girls Hostel has the same. Mess Food is pathetic and I would recommend a private hostel instead of Campus Hostel.

The seniors are very helping and caring. They guide us in each and every aspect and are ready to help us whenever we want.

The Exam Structure Consists of 3 Internal Assessments called Sessionals as well as Assignments Which evaluate the internal Marks There is also External Exam Conducted by AKTU which assess the External marks. Thus a Combination of both internal and external marks Gives the Result.

I got admission on the basis of UPSEE marks and thereafter counseling. I got Galgotias College Of Engineering And Technology on the basis of my UPSEE marks, I had opted for this college on my 2nd priority which I luckily got. Afterward, I went through document verification and was Given Admission.

The faculty of the college is quite good with the privilege of about 3-4 teachers per subject. The teachers are qualified and give their 100%. A teacher gets around 7-8 lectures per week. They Strictly follow Aktu Patten in syllabus completion and even impart extra knowledge too.
