- Being a Romantic, I liked the wonderful campus with greenery and serene nature.
- Co curricular activities were executed and I did love winning prizes, certificates in events such as extempore, quiz .
- Professors were well versed and knowledgeable. Opportunities are provided to participate in international seminars and workshops. I had the opportunity of hosting one workshop and volunteering for an international conference, received certificates .
Dislikes
- Well I had trouble travelling from home to uni as it was 70+ kms away .
- On a daily basis it was difficult to travel over to the place, thus finding an accomodation became necessary.
- Nothing else, everything was alright.. the campus is growing and so are the advancements.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum really helped me learn aspects about various papers and even detailed knowledge about certain parts of literature which is very rarely focused on by others was covered here and helped me get a few pointers for UGC NET.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees here is very basic and almost negligible, so for such a little amount you get to learn a lot. Each semesters admission fees were very moderate compared to other universities, so it was extremely affordable.
Campus Life
Rabindra Jayanti is celebrated annually in the campus , with cultural events such as dance, song, plays dedicated to him performed by groups or duos or even single students from various departments, also sports events such as the university premier league takes place during spring(March-May), where games like cricket, badminton, chess, carrom, etc are played
Admission
The admission process was very rigorous, I happened to have missed out on the first lists of the uni, however due to last minute seats being made available, there was a sort of spot counseling where the ones who failed to get an admission received another chance.
Faculty
The faculty members are all really well versed and knowledgeable and I'm glad to have received education from them , with their help I even successfully hosted a workshop on translation which was a part of one our papers in Sem II of the course and I did participate in 2 international conferences hosted by our department.
