The only regret is that food provided in the mess of the college hostel is not good.

I opted for Galgotias college of engineering and technology because it had a very good ranking among the colleges affiliated to Abdul Kalam technical university and it is located in Greater Noida where there is a good environment to study and plan for the future.

The course curriculum is strictly according to the latest syllabus prescribed by A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University and there is three sessional examination which occurs every two months and constitutes 30 percent marks and rests 70 percent marks depend on the end semester exams.

No, the college does not provide any internship and if it is provided then no stipend is given to the student.

Placements at our college are good for the computer science department. Almost all our seniors got placement letters from one or more companies. Various companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant and many others visited our college campus for placement. The average salary offered was 3 to 4 lacks per annum.

Our college is known for the events and fests organized by it in Greater Noida. They are very good. Each department of our college has it's own technical, literary, management and many other clubs which organize fests that are open to all for participation.

Our college is somewhat expensive than other government colleges that come under AKTU university. Its fees are about 150000 which includes only college fees and tuition fees for two semesters and about 100000 for non AC hostel room and about 140000 for AC hostel room.

The college does not provide any kind of scholarship but the scholarship is provided by AKTU according to their eligibility criteria for the scholarship.

The campus life is really very enjoying here and we also understand how to tackle problems and thus become mature. The gender ratio in our college for boys to girls is 5:1. There are great exposure and study environment is good for both male and female students.

Our college hostels are quite large and the rooms are spacious and well maintained. Proper cleaning of the rooms is also done from time to time and there is also a television room and a world class gym equipped with modern equipment but the problem is that hostel food is not good.

The alumni network of our college is not very strong but college is improving it by organizing alumni meet and seminars.

The exams are held frequently as a class test is held every week in each subject and sessional exams of 50 marks are held every two months and the lab quiz is also conducted. The end semester exams which have 70 percent of the total weight are held in December and May months by AKTU.

I got admission here through AKTU counseling procedure which is an online counseling where we had to fill the choice of the colleges and branch in which we want to do B.Tech from that particular college. The counseling procedure consisted of seven rounds and a spot round.

The faculty of the college is really supportive and helpful. They are ready to help the students every time and they are also well qualified and have deep knowledge in their field. They use various innovative techniques and try their best to make concepts clear to students.
