Likes
- The diversity and social interactions is one of the major point ive liked about it. As a student from outside state i managed to communicate with tn students and leraned about their cultures and language especially.
- Many students like me from Kerala . actually from most of the regions from kerala ive liked it so much. The infrastructure is good.
- They wont conduct fests and events often but the one they're conducting is too good.
Dislikes
- The hostel is not that good in my opinion. Especially the food its actually worst sometimes.
- Canteen menu is limited . But the food there is okay okay.
- The main issues with the faculty is that. Some of the Proffesors are resigning within 1 or 2 years of joining.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took this course beacuse i wanted to do it. It was my aim to pursue this as my career. And as you know computers its everywhere and if we can study and opt it as a career then we can also be everwhere. Thats one of the main reasons. The faculty is preparing us well for the real-world application but it's upto us how we utilize it. Teaching method i didn't like is the more theory in the first year. Exams are difficult but not that much , in a scale of 1-10 the difficulty level of exam is 8.5Frequency between internals are 1.5 months and all semesters won't consist of 6 months.
Internships Opportunities
Sometimes college provide internship or we have to apply for our own intership. For internship we wont get that much as stipend and we have to spend money for travel and food from our own money. Mostly we get internship in our core.
Placement Experience
College is providing campus placements. From 4th year we can get into companies if we're good in academics and skillful. Tcs, Tech Mahindra, etc. companies visited for campus placement. The highest lpa was 6lakh and the lowest was 1.5lpa. I am going to search for my own placement I don't want to get a job through campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee for me who is pursuing be cse is 110000 per year, Other fees including ID card and books for the first semester alone cost 25k. There are scholarships for some caste categories and for students who completed their studies in Tamil Nadu.
Campus Life
They conduct one event called Cultural every year in the month of May, the event happens in 2 days first day with DJ night and the next day with some music band performing night. And regional festivals like onam, Pongal and Christmas. College life is going to be awesome if you have some friends.
Admission
12th pass is the eligibility criteria and u should pass 12th by studying pcm-physics, chemistry, and maths. We can easily apply through the college's official website and they give us a callback on the same. The application fee cost me rs500. The frequency of exams is 4-5 months of semester examinations.
Faculty
The faculty in my department is actually good. They're well-qualified and knowledgeable. The ratio is low but still we can approach them anytime. The teaching style opted by some of the faculty is top notch and some of them are below average. we can easily approach them for academics or non-academics.
