Remarks

Overall it is a college where you would get proper education, good guidance and moral values though you would have less freedom, like bunking the classes is little difficult, but you will realize knw your last years that it was important to prevent you fr

Entrance Preview

EAMCET is an entrance test conducted by govt of telangana after declaration of results a counselling happens where we put our stream and college choices which we expect to be alloted based on marks scored i had an option to choose a non IT stream in CBIT and IT stream in VASAVI. Researching a little from seniors and on the net, i chose informtion technology from VASV.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Now the VASAVI COLLEGE OF ENGG is totally autonomous and hence makes a very good curriculum taking into consideration all aspects and latest advancements by not including the subjects that are completely out of future scope, and emphasizing onto the more in the industry stuff, faculty is doing a great job.

Internships Opportunities

Not to all the students but yes VASV does provides interniships to few on merit basis. Microsoft takes 1 student every year for internship. Few small companies also come to provide infernship about 30 to 40% students get internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

We do have very good placement opportunities companies like Oracle, Pega systems, Microsoft India, Accolite etc visit campus every year to hire students placement percentage is about 90 for CSE and 84 for IT. Even for non IT streams there are companies like Mahindra, L&T, Oppo, ACT etc visit campus for hiring in their core fields.

College Events

4

Every year we celebrate Technical fest called ACUMEN it happens on a pretty good standard students from various local colleges come to the campus to take part in various events that happen many technical as well as non technical events do occur which bring out many talented students and also are a great fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Currently the fee structure of VASAVI is 1,20,000 per year which is for category A admitted students. Category B varies every year depending on the applicants and their academic performance tution fees does not include OSMANIA university exam fee exam fee which is 1200 approx is to be paid every semester by students.

Fees and Financial Aid

One can get an external load from standard banks also for economically backward students college takes steps to help them by paying certain amount out of their fees. Also there are Professional bodies like IEEE, CSI which sponsor yearly few students fees.

Campus Life

5

Well in computer science streams we have 100 : 90 ratio of Girls to boys yes it is girls 100 and boys 90. And in other streams it is 40:60 approx regarding college environment, it is very ambient and peaceful people are very much friendly and polite there are no regional communities (like in few national colleges) everybody is treated equally by all.

Hostel Facilities

3

College does not provide any hostel facilities to us. But there are many good facilitated hostels available in the areas of langar houz and mehdipatnam which are just 5 to 8 kms far from campus. Since mehdipatnam is in the heart of city and very well deve

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni do visit the campus frequently and also they guide the juniors in what all ways they can be better since they have expirenced the same situations. My seniors have voulenteered to teach us in person few technical concepts which would help me during my placements too.

Exam Structure

Since it is an autonomous body, Facutly try to make labs very interesting and learning so that we understand maybe less in no of concepts but learn them clearly. Labs are pretty good with well equiped with all the devices and machines we get grouped into

Faculty

3.5

We have many faculty members with more than 8 to 10 years of experience. Teachers are very much willing to teach the concepts in a thorough and clear way. They even stay back after working hours if any student shows enthusiasm in learning more. Proffessor
