Three courses namely agriculture, horticulture and forestry is here.Some courses are coming in near future.Course agriculture includes all the aspects of agricultural crops and some guidance about horticultural crops and forestry knowledge as well.Horticure have their specifications as well as forestry.Curriculum is somewhat broad and schedule is busy here.Practical experience makes someone ready for real world applications which is somehow lacks here for some extent.Course curriculum is good but needs to improve in exposing the students to the practical world.For perspective of exams in a semester,there is quiz 1 ,mid term ,quiz 2 and then end term.The difficulty level of exam is of moderate type.One can do well in exams by giving attention in classrooms and few hours of study in hostels.

Internship opportunities is given to the students in 7th semester as component of RAWE program by the university.Besides that students can also engage themselves in any other internship program by their own during any semester.Internship can be of one, two or of three months based on requirement of companies.The stipend is also given to the students.The companies like Dhanuka, Segenta, Willowood, etc. offers internship opportunities to the students and providing good amount of stipend also.Roles assigned is to discuss about their products to the farmers.Interaction with farmers and are of marketing services.These are come under RAWE program and a component of industrial attachment.

This is one of the three agricultural central university in India.The course fee is affordable here which is 7400 per semester and it increases per year by 1000 rupees.The course fee for four years around 60000.You have to pay your mess charge and electricity bill separately.No other charges is here besides some security money at the beginning which gets return once completing your course.As getting admission here only through entrance exams conducted by Icar so the scholarship is given of 3000 per month called as NTS(National Talent Scholarship).There is cetain criteria for getting scholarship here.Someone have to maintain cgpa per semester to get the scholarship.Mess charges and electricity bill varies ,it is around 36000 per year .

As this is a central university so there are students from many states almost twenty two.There is great diversity among cultures and festivals.All these are celebrated with all joy and participation of all students is there.Some of festivals are ganesh chaturthi, Holi, diwali, etc.Here, a good library having various range of books, journals are available.Spacious library with no sound providing good atmosphere for studying to the students.The classrooms have projector,sound system,centralised air conditioning system,proper lighting and fans to support easy and convenient studying atmosphere to students.There are two playgrounds for sports activities.Various sports activities are going on throughout the year.Many competitions are also held within college,intercollege as extracurricular activities.SPARSE is there to nurture their skills.

Hostel facilities is good here.Lift is there to go up and down to different floors along with upstairs.Room is spacious.Three students have to live in a room.3 beds are given along with mattress and pillow.Almirah is also there.Two fans and a cooler along with light tubes is there.Also a separate table and chair for each student.Food facility is good not best.Non veg once in a week. Charge is 2600 per month.Wifi is there in hostel for students.Hostel is given to all the students who takes admission here.No one is allowed to stay outside the Television is there in mess and there is study room separately in hostel also.

The one must complete their intermediate from a recognised board.One has either of subject maths , biology or agriculture as main subject in intermediate.The application is taken by the ICAR.Application fee varies according to the category.Reservation is also availed as per central government norms.The entrance exam is conducted once in a year with moderate level of difficulty.The time given for filling application form is for 1 months.The exam is conducted generally after neet exam in month of May.Application is taken in month of March -April.For availing reservation,one has to submit necessary documents.There is equal number of questions from all the subjects.There is 3 different combinations of subject group.

The faculty to student ratio is good.There is good number of faculties in each department.All faculties have good teaching experience.Some faculties need to change their teaching mode.It is very easy here to interact with our faculties.They all and always stands with their students and help in all means.They guide us in shaping our future Faculties include scientists, assistant professor, associate professor and professors.Some eminent professor are also there to guide us with their vast experience.They guide us in practical working also.Way of teaching is changing now from alone projector to projector and white board which is more effective for the students to understand the things well.Faculties are good here.
