It is the oldest and one of the best engineering colleges in Karnataka. It has teachers with profound teaching experience and amazing placements. It encourages students in extracurricular activities as well as helps to grow as a person. It has nature at its centers.

The college gives a good opportunity for course related researches. There is an IEEE wing in the college. Students get a lot of opportunities to take up research projects, publish papers . The college also provides sufficient time for students to be engaged in research and the teachers are also very supportive.

The college invites a lot of companies providing internships for students. The general stipend ranges from 15 to 40 thousand rupees a month.

The college has the best placement opportunities in the state. Top mnc's like microsoft, dell among others to be mentioned. The job offers ranges triple to the number of students in the college. The placement office trains and helps the students to get the best suitable job. I would rate 10/10 for the placement service.

The fee structure is feasible for all the students. The general fee is 25000 per year for B.E students and 45000 for M.E students. The category people get a fee discount as well. The exam fee are 2000 per examination. Have to take a demand draft in favour of Bangalore Univerisy.

Campus life is chilling. Gender ratio varies from branch to branch. A lot of extracurricular activities happened around like sports competitions, seminars etc. Robotics also happens during the college festival. Labs are equipped with minimum facilities but currently under renovation.

Hostel is located nearby to college. It has old buildings. It has more than 300 students and very friendly. The food is also ok. Hostel needs a little improvement in the matter of infrastructure. Also, scholarships are given to some students for the stay in hostel.

The alumni network is helpful. There is an association as well near the college campus. They actively take part in college programs. Senior students are also friendly and supportive.

The exam time table comes nearing the exam dates giving less than a month to prepare for the exams. But the exam and labs are not hectic. The papers are set by Bangalore University and to the college alone. The gap between each exam is one to three days.

I took the Karnataka CET exam and scored to get a seat in the college. The seat allotment was online and the admission date the and the process was easy, had to submit the prescribed documents like marks cards, CET scorecard etc. The office staff give a lot of guidance in overall admission process.

The college has got an experienced faculty in all the branches. Senior lecturers are Ph.D holders and some of them have written course-related books. They help the students time to apart from classroom teaching. They also provide support for students choosing research or advanced studies.
