Entrance Preview
This is the best private educational institute in Chhattisgarh. I liked its infrastructure, studies are worthy. Provides me with many extra curricular activities. A very big and good library is also available for students. Hostel environment is pretty good. It also has a basketball court sports room for different kind of sports.
Internships Opportunities
This college provides internship with many good companies. Students get chances to do an internship with Bhilai steel plant
Placement Experience
Placement and job qualities are very good. Main recruiters are Indian navy, TCS, byju, Capgemini, Mahindra finance, an average package a student may get is minimum of 3.5 lacs a year which can get to a maximum of 12 lacs a year. A training and placement cell is present in the college especially to train students for good placement.
College Events
The main event of this college is OJAS held every year in BIT. This is the main College fest organized by BIT in its campus. This is held every year in Jan-Feb month. Many other events are happening in this college throughout the year. Many celebrities do visit our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible for engineering one may have to pay around 35000-45000 per semester. Hostel fees vary from 45000-55000 a year which includes a mess, a multistation gym, a full-time sports arena, canteen during college hours, a Nescafe coffee house, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
A scholarship is not mainly provided to the students. Those students who do well in the end sem examination are given rewards.
Campus Life
Campus life of a student start from morning 10 am. The first class starts at 10 am with each class session of 50 minutes. A student gets a lunchtime of 50 min in between. Lunchtime for first-year students is 12:30 - 1:20 and for others is 1:20 - 2:10.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities include a spacious room 3-4 persons provided with an individual table, chair, bed, and almirah. The center region between the rooms is a big ground for all activities. Badminton, volleyball, football, cricket can be played in this ground easily by the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is not very well known here. Seniors seem to be very interactive and helpful. Ragging in BIT is not much heard.
Exam Structure
All the exams in this college are conducted by respective universities. Engineering examinations are conducted by Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU). Other exams like CT and practicals are conducted in and by BIT. Full discipline is maintained during examinations.
Admission
I got admission in bit drug by the entrance exam called CG-pet. This examination is only for students having Chhattisgarh's domicile. Other students willing to get admission in BIT, must have appeared for jee-mains. Admission through CG-pet is a rank based criteria.
